stop the abstract explanations. It's not going to help you win the other two.

Negative and prejudiced words to put down MS Dhoni by the writer of the article.

- was supposed
Reality: by whom, the writer or his friend?
- India have been outplayed - says who?
Reality: the writer only says this - India has put up a good performance and much more.
-However, to his credit
Realiyu: MS is a credible captain and encourages team mates to play totheir potential. Better than all captain, except maybe Kapil. Then again, these are early days. Give the guy a chance writer, dont run him down. If you're that jealous and he succedds in 5 years completely, you'd lose your value as a credible writer.

- admitted
Reality: MS is honest. Writer likes to put hiom down. MS Dhoni is frank and honest.

-revealed
so the writer is looking for something to put him int rouble

what a sorry attitude of this writer.

My thoughts on current Indian XI
by LG on Nov 08, 2009 06:33 AM  | Hide replies

1. Sachin: World are not enough to describe him. Some say he is the GOD of cricket, other say he is the best batsman ever played cricket. To me he is like Arjun of Mahabharat-best in his profession and perfect human being. Bhavan Krshan said, in Pandava, I am Arjun; so I can understand why Sachin is perceived as the GOD of cricket.
2. Sehwag: When he clicks he can put India on driving seat, but inconsistent. But a team needs such a player, so do India.
3. Gambhir: Very much like Dravid, but since he is Left hand batsman bowlers find it difficult to bowl at him; so he scores at better rates than Dravid. When he tries to play in a way he is incapable of, he gets out—last match is an example.
4. UV: Overconfident player. Inconsistent. Sometimes use his advantages—being a left-handed batsman—to fullest extent, and produce good innings like Lara.
5. Dohni: Is he a batsman? NO. He can score only by running better than others. If a team cut down his singles and twos, he is worse than a tail. Bad wicket keeper. Ordinary captain. Should not be in the team. We should look for his replacement.
6. Raina: Talented. But his confidence has been shattered by mindless captaincy of Dohni. Earning praise from Sachin at the presentation ceremony of last match will do me good.
7. Jadeja: Overconfident player: Should not be in the team at present. Getting run out twice by going for run where there was none—unacceptable at any level of cricket.

continue....

8. Bhaji: He has forgotten his main role. Can swing his bat and connect when he knows win is out of reach, but fails to do that when win is possible.
9. Parveen Kumar: Can become a useful allrounder. But media and fan should restrict from calling him allrounder. He needs to develop into allrounder with his own pace.
10. Ashish Nehara: Very good bowler, but a cricketer with poor attitude. Wish he would improve on his attitude. He reminds me of Jagwal Srinath.
Munaf Patel: Not an international level cricketer. Should never be in the team. It is pity that once referred as the fastest bowler in India has become medium pacer.

Did you get paid to write soo much..LOL. Regarding Dhoni being out - you must be out of your mind to fire ICC ODI Player of the Year 2009. Glad you are not in our selection committee.

This Indian team is much better than depleted Australia
by M Alem on Nov 08, 2009 06:26 AM

Give Team India all the credit for chasing a score of 350. India is by far a better team than Australia -- especially given they way they are being plagued by injury. india will easily win the last two matches.

people with uncontrolled mind
by LG on Nov 08, 2009 05:47 AM  | Hide replies

Uncontrolled mind is the most power enemy of any human being. That is why we have Yoga as a part of Sanatan Dharma.

Uncontrolled mind leads to negative thinking draining out all of you (body) energy, which force one to indulge self-satisfying acts or KARMA.

During the time when Mahatma Gandhi was fighting for independence and after gaining independence; there were/ are people who were/are condemning and abusing him because he was/is perceived as threat to their self-centered thinking.

Similarly, people with uncontrolled mind are always bent on criticizing/abusing Sachin. These people have no other way to feel happy or rather get satisfaction.

Hey Steven you should be shameful because only India is giving at least some fight, other teams are losing like hell. Other teams will bat twice against Australians and will still lose. The fact remains same that Aussies are the champs and there will be fight to grab the number one spot. Nobody expected Pakis to win T20 world cup but they won, players don't play, it's the team. That's why even Sachin scored 175 and India still lost, so stop your crap and take a hide.

Dhoni's leadership lags. There is no Team Effort!
by Talisman on Nov 08, 2009 03:29 AM  | Hide replies

When sachin is playing in such a splendid fashion, Dhoni and Yuvaraj showed a lack of intent and effort. They acted as though they did not like someone else to be the center of attention. In other words, they did not want to play second fiddle to Sachin.

May be Dhoni and Yuvaraj should go back to IPL and leave Team india in better hands - players that really want India to win! Perhaps, we want Gambhir or Sewag to captain the team.

australian selectors are ruthless they do not spare even captains
by pravin sarode on Nov 08, 2009 03:21 AM  | Hide replies

dhoni him self is main looser now he needs to do self evaluation ATMA PARISHAN what goes wrong. when u point finger to other remaining 4 fingers folded point to ur self sir
in 5 matches only 1 ton dhoni hit so also sachin so it is game of consistency not peak, impulsive tons. ravi shastri used to do 1 ton then fail for next 10 to 20 shows
so australian selectors are ruthless who kicked steave waugh after new zealand india oz triseries slow batting rate of waugh. steave waugh won 1987 reliance world cup for oz but ricky pointing the marathon man took the command of oz wheel after india new zealand australia tri series defeat of australia 2002
