SACHIN RAMESH TENDULKAR
by damodaran mohan on Nov 06, 2009 05:04 PM

Simply unbelievable, such a breathtaking innings coming from him after playing cricket for two decades ! Easily it was one of Sachin’s best of the 45 one day centuries. He almost repeated his brilliant match winning knocks at sharaja about a decade ago. After this memorable knock however the younger team mates who call Sachin Tendulkar grandfather better think again. It is not just his batting but his child like attitude of enthusiasm and spirit seen even while fielding and bowling makes him look younger than his other talented younger team mates. Sachin is indeed unique!

Unnecessary urgency cost India the match
by Sasidharan Vellat on Nov 06, 2009 05:03 PM

When considering the situation India were in the last session of the game, any team could have won the match if they kept their nerves.
Some rash runouts, and floored catches in Australian inngings all cost them the match. The team with better nerve and confidence had won. We have to learn a lot from Aussies how not to lose hope till the last ball is bowled. India lost so many close matches in the past too. In this series itself, we lost the first match by 4 runs. I think the inclusion of Munaf Patel was wrong. Thyagi could have been tried. Jadeja is good only as a bowler and fielder. He should come after Parveen Kumar in order. No good in crying over the spilt milk.

Dhoni, Viru, Jubi should be ashamed
by gautam ghosh on Nov 06, 2009 02:53 PM

In Indian team many of the players have already played more than 100-200 matches but stil today most of them have the ability to win a match. They should better learn from the Austrilians how to keep nerves cool till end. Hats of to Sachin tendulkar for master blaster innings.Dhoni have lost the aggresive attitude in his captancy and he should concentrate his batting.

can u imagine inspite of retirements of greats like in recent time mcgrath, gillispee, warne, kasprowiz, gilchrist, hayden, martin, waugh brothers, langer, this Austrlia team is still giving challanges to other teams who are talking big, they won one day series in England though lost the test series2-1 but gave the gallont fight, won champions trophy, and now giving india hard fight,,,,those who are saying austrlia is not the same team, i am saying austrlia inspite of going through changing phase is far ahead of all. well done austrlia.. u r realy 1- 10 and after that any teams comes i salute austrlian players

U r right Jha as u can see they played but they never thought for records tell me have u seen Our KAR better then Hayden. For me even i have played cricket for my state but his kar is only for his records he never played to India like all other Aus players play they are didicated to the team not for records if hayden would have continue like our kar then he would have finished the records by now i am sure of it. Really well played Aus u have should u r the champs as u show off as u r not our indians just for a match and the next match he has a big duck.
