CLASSIC is the only word with U describe this inning. If anybody really interested to play cricket he must watch this inning. It was one of the best knock from the great little master.
Over these years, Tendulkar has been key to Indian fortunes - he averages almost 57 in matches that India win, but the slumps to 33 in games India lose. His 32 centuries in wins is more than any other batsman has scored in his entire career, which is a telling statistic of how far ahead of the pack Tendulkar is.
Tendulkar has also scored more than 19% of the runs that India have scored in the games which he has played. It's more than the corresponding percentage for all batsmen who've scored more than 10,000 runs in ODIs. Among the other prominent openers who haven't touched 10,000, Desmond Haynes has a slightly higher percentage - 19.58, to Tendulkar's 19.34.

Statistically Sachin is the best batsman ever in ODI. period.
In 1999, India lost a Test match to Pakistan by 12 runs in Chennai. There were some startling parallels between that match and the one dayer on November 5, 2009 where India lost to Australia by 3 runs in Hyderabad.
On both occasions, Sachin Tendulkar got a big hundred and India lost.
Tendulkar added 136 runs with Nayan Mongia to revive India's chances.
On Nov 5, he added 137 with Suresh Raina to again revive India - one run more than Chennai.
Mongia perished to a pull shot when India needed 53 to win in Chennai.
Raina also perished to a pull shot when India needed 52 to win in Hyderabad -- one run less than Chennai.
On both occasions, Tendulkar was out caught trying to clear the infield with a lofted shot.
On both occasions when he got out, Tendulkar was batting with the No. 8 batsman -- Sunil Joshi in 1999, Ravindra Jadeja on Nov 5, 2009.
Both Joshi and Jadeja are slow left-arm spinners, and their second names begin with the same letter. ALSO THE Y R LEf
In 1999, Tendulkar was the seventh out with India needing 17 for a win.
In 2009, Tendulkar was the seventh out with India needing 19 for a win.
In Chennai, Wasim Akram won the toss and elected to bat.
In Hyderabad, Ricky Ponting also batted after winning the toss.
India lost their last five wickets for 40 runs in Chennai.
On Nov 5, they lost their last five wickets for 47 runs.
In 1999, Pakistan opener Shahid Afridi got a hundred.
SOME BODY IS TELLIN THAT "KAR" (SACHIN) IS PLAYING FOR HIS RECORDS.AND PRASISING AUSIS PLAYERS, ESPECIALLY HYDEN. REALLY PRAISING OF AUS PLAYERS IS NOT BAD. BUT Y THESE INDIANS TRY TO DEMORALISE THE CONTRIBUTING PLAYERS ? THE ONLY REASON IS JEALOUSY!!!SACHIN IS PLAYED WELL & OPPONENT PONTING AGREED THAT IT WAS A TERIFFIC INNINGS. BUT JEALOUSY INDIANS CANT BELIEVE THAT AN INDIAN, ESPECIALLY SACHIN, CAN PLAY THESE KIND OF INNINGS.THEY ARE ANGRY Y SACHIN PLAYED THAT INNINGS - THEIR ANSWER IS FOR HIS RECORDS. I DONT WHAT RECORD HE MADE YESTERDAY. 17000 RUNS. IS IT AN RECORD ? WHAT KIND OF RECORD. SACHIN IS THE TOPPEST RUNS GETTER AS ON YESTERDAY. THEN Y 17000 RUNS BECOME AN RECORD ? IS 18000 RUNS A RECORD ? FOLLOSHNESS. HE IS GOING MORE & MORE FORWARD. THATS ONLY. I THINK MEDIAS R MAKING PROBLEMS. SACHIN IS NOT MAKING MUCH HAPPY WITH HIS RECORDS. BUT UNNECESSARILY MEDIAS MAKING IT AS BIG NEWS. STILL INDIA FAILED THEN ALSO MEDIAS GIVING IMPORTANCE FOR SACHIN'S RECORDS. THATS Y THESE JEALOUSY INDIANS GOT MISUNDERSTOOD SACHIN. ACTUALLY SACHIN NOT GIVING MUCH IMPORTANCE TO RECORDS & STARDOM. HE IS QUITE GENTLE & SIMPLE MAN. NOT POSH & POLISHED MAN. IN MY MEMMORIES, SACHIN GOT OUT MORE THAN 50 TIMES DUE TO UMPIRES MISTAKES. BUT IN THAT TIME ALSO HE KEPT SILENT & GENTLENESS. LOOK ON PREVIOUS MATCH. UMPIRE DSILVA CALLED OUT SAC HIN PURPOSELY. IF HE WAS NOT OUT INDIAN WOULD HAVE WON THE MATCH BECOZ AUSI TARGET WAS VERY LOW (250).WE HAVE CRITISE SACHIN & OUR TEAM POSITIVELY POSITIVELY.

Sachin is past his prime despite the fine century yesterday. But he will always be remembered as one of the greatest cricketers ever. No one can take away that from him. But it's also true that there are other players who have achieved a lot in their careers. I am not a big fan of Sachin's but I consider him to be the best ever in ODIs and one of the best in test cricket. yesterday he played a very entertaining knock of 175 which almost won India the match. Ok, it wasn't a match winning knock but it definitely was entertaining. Australia has proven in this series and in the Champions Trophy in SA that more than any other team in the world they deserve to be the best simply because they give their 100% in every match and never give up. This Oz team is a great one, especially after missing 7 key players. India should be leading the series by now but no. India is in danger of losing another ODI series at home to the Aussies. But it's not over yet. Let's hope we win the next 2 matches.

Raja, Dhoni scored a century and India won in Nagpur. Yuvi scored a half century and India won. Sachin scored a century and India lost. not his fault though. India doesn't always give it 100% in every match they play. They occasionally play their best matches which is why despite boasting of batsmen like Viru, Sachin, Gauti, Dhoni and Yuvi, they lost against Australia A which has Ponting and Hussey.

I was referring to this present Oz team without 7 of their first choice players. SA would have beaten them in the series so far. But India is India, very unpredictable which means they can beat any team in the world. Being unpredictable also means that they can't be trusted to win every game they play. Thus losing some and winning some.
