There is slight chance that Delhi also can be eliminated from semis if NRR is calculated with delhi still on 16 points after 14 games. so far still 6 teams are in race for 4 spots and none has fully qualified.

Minimum 7 wins are required... Mumbai has 1 match in hand and 5 wins. Even if they win with a huge margin that too against Delhi, they can maximum watch the semis from outside and they should not even dream about IPL 2009. Anjali is waiting at home.....

What do you mean "Minimum 7 wins are required" ? If punjab, rajasthan and bangalore loose their all matches, only 3 team will have minimum 7 wins.
Honestly, I dont think Mumbai will make it to the semis, I dont think they deserve it. But my point is theoretically it is possible and rediff publishes rubbish articles titled Mumbai out of contentions.

yes, mumbai can still make into semi finals if punjab, rajasthan and bangalore loose their all matches and thats very much possible as they are against the tops teams and they dont have single matches among them....

theoretically possible. but less likely RR has 2 matches one of which is against KKR
Sachin shouldn't be blamed for this loss. Again he has been unlucky through this competition. His battalion has not been powerful when compared to the top teams. Duminy and Abhishek are the only hopefuls. Sachin himself is showing signs of slugishness (fatigue due to too much cricket). Hopefully, the MI think tank (Ambani and Tendulkar) will need to work out on some good/solid middle order batsman for the IPL Season 3 - bring in somebody like Michael Clarke. Good luck for them in the next season.

oh come on. He has a very good team at his disposal with the bowler who has the purple cap and that too at a good eco rate. The best bastmen in cricket, that too explosive is in his team. The issue is poor captaincy. He chokes under pressure and that reflects on the team. That is the issue.
Come on...CSK deserves a place in the Semi's... CSK had match winners too.. Apart from Haydo, CSK had Raina, Dhoni, Badri, Murali, Jakati to win matches for them...Sudeep and Morkel wee good in patches...Without these guys, CSK wouldn't have won 5 matches continously....Take a look at Delhi which lost the match against Kings XI...Although they lost badly, they are still a dangerous side...Delhi and CSK are the two champion sides in IPL 2. Consistency is what matters - Both Delhi and CSK have been more consistent.
