Indian or international Premiere leauge?

It is sad that sachin could neither inspire as a captain nor as a player, the result a lackdasical effort and an early exit

It was a foregone conlcusion that MI could never make it Semis, especially with sachin beig the captain. it is an open fact that he have up as an indian captain so that he could do some justice to his batting.
not just Sachin, it is sad that there has been a great dearth of match winning performances from the indian Batsmen. They have been anything but inspiring

All the match winners 90% of the time it has been a foreign hand who won matches for their respective teams
For theyoung indian audeince following IPL i really wonder if they have any indian hero for them
Yousuf pathan has done decently but, we all know that Shane warnes charm rubs off on the whole team and he has made pathan a beliver

No wonder why even the franchisees have opted for foreign coach, because though it is a dirty word to use we all know that India can at best play a support role in any field of activity and can never lead!

Raina, Rohit, Kumble, Jakati all are Indians who are match winners. Coach may be from Indian side. Again that depends on franchisee's bank balance. 4 foreigners per team is ok. This is just for entertainment for local public like you and me. But for the team owners its money. During this recession time, when they are not ready to anything for the country and they want to double their money by making public fools, its our fault and not IPL's.

Dude, 15-20 good Indian palyers are divided into 8 teams. So, each team gets around 2 stablished Indian player. But they get 4 selected foreigner. So chances has to be bleak for Indians to outperform foreigner.

this has nothing to do with the ratio, boss ! even assuming what you say is tenable, can you cite the performances of our international, national and rookies ? an analysis would be a revelation !!

not a performance of champion team
by Guest on May 16, 2009 09:29 PM  | Hide replies

the target that was set was not at all difficult task. but the way CSK started there innings means that they don't deserve to be a champions. still good wishes for making place in the semifinal berth. we hope some best performances in the remaining matches.

Do you understand what you say ?. Dude score in first 6 overs depends on lots of factors. Dont assume that because score is 140ish opposition can go blast away. 150 was the average best score on that pitch. Understand a little more before you comment.

In that case, the start which Mumbai had during batting, they dont deserve 147 runs. They should be knocked out for 100 maximum.
