2 results possible
by shashikiran kajava on Mar 29, 2009 06:49 PM

Test match is interestingly poised. It will foolish to think that India have already drawn the test. To save the test we will have to bat 2 n half sessions tomorrow (as Indians are unlikely to attack in the morning session) which is not impossible, but difficult. To our advantage I guess Kiwi bowlers will be little bit tired, but they are often good at doing simple things right. Newzealand can win if they get India out in 2 sessions within a lead of 150 runs. One thing is sure that India can not win this test. Should be a great day of cricket.

Dhoni upsurped all Help, he and his agent R selfish politician
by D S on Mar 29, 2009 06:31 PM  | Hide replies

Sehwag would have won if not for dropped catch by politicians for Dhoni. Now Selectors should find way so all help is given to Sehwag.
LIke the way we went out of our way to help NDA to realize our mistake, same happened when we pulled behind Dhoni for T20 in South Africa. Did not know he was a pest.

Dhoni should not be captain for test. How would you like your father to be demoted and replaced by younger person.

Sehwag should get all help from Yuvi,Harbi...to be successful captain. But politics prevents Sehwag from being a Success captain.

Dhoni, he needs to wait and so should his cave politics.
No way, Sehwag has given a lot, he should not be an exploited and a trashed father. Should be given some respect as well for his contribution. He should Not to be pulled from under the carpet.

first please learn that it is game & spirit of game is that the better side wins for example 3 jan 2008 symonds & bhajji abused each other in sydney that test we lost for un fair umpiring today also rahul was not out but it is umpires decision final so we indian have to be careful from umpires and ball wide out side off & leg stumps. do not let the tears of kumbale go waist. we indians never learn from past

In politics, we need direct election of PM by people, NO cartels.
In cricket, we need all the help to be given to Sehwag to be a success before next in line is given captaincy.

Batting on the last day isvey difficult. the ball will turn sharply. the first two hours is crucial for us. they should not lose any wicket.but at the same time we must score atleasr another 250 runs. best of luck to the indian team, amen

Dravid
by sangeeta rasaily on Mar 29, 2009 06:26 PM  | Hide replies

DRavid should be dropped from the Test team. The Wall is now as ancient as the great wall of China. Just standing there at the crease may have been a great statement in itself seven years ago but he is simply bad influence on the batsmen at the other end who come under unnecessary pressure because he just does not rotate the strike.
He is as useless as Geoff Boycott and the great wall. Time to say good bye Dravid.

he is not useless. use u r brain idiot. if he had not scored those runs or consume so much of time then it would have been different. now there is chance of draw or even win. if a person like useless yuvi comes then, India would loat on the 3 day itself. use u brain & talk about him. he was not out but the useless umpire gave him out

66, 8 n.o, 83, 62 and also remember he did not play any T20 match or ODI match in this tour to be able to read kiwi bowlers.

Test is 5 days game not a 50 over match.test is the real exam for batsman and also for bowler. Test match not for stroke or nor for strike rotate in every ball. in test fielding is very close so it is not easy to ratate the strike

tomorrow's strategy
by ASHOK PANDYA on Mar 29, 2009 06:20 PM

it is the easiest game to play by sitting infront of t.v and from the stadium. one should play in the interest of the country whether or not india win the it will be a mere result only not anything more than that. but ehtics and spirit of the game should be maintain.

Tomorrow's crocket strategy
by A V on Mar 29, 2009 06:10 PM  | Hide replies

The match is ver interestingly posied.
We are 62 runs behind and have 90 overs more to go.
Assuming 4 overs per over, we need to bat for 50-60 overs tomorrow, to avoid a loss. So basically we need to bat for atleast 2 out of the 3 sessions.
I am sure our team is capable of this. Just hope they don't lose early wickets and put themselves in pressure.

lets play for the draw
by Dr Love on Mar 29, 2009 06:08 PM

I think India not needed to do any thing adventerous as they posses 1-0 lead to follow the third test, but they need to show the same character and guts what they showed on fourth day and it will be a moral victory for Team India. They did half and half is left tomorrow... it will be good to see Newzeland bowlers will be bowling for the consecutive fourth day.. as they start bowling Indians from 2nd day itself after Tea. they all will be exhausted before the final test.

we do not have to attck.
close the match with a draw & you are still 1-0 in the series.
we do not have to lose wickets tomorrow as there are 3 sessions to go as yet & we are still 62 runs behind.

Anand bhai, 'We' do not have to attack ..., 'We; do not have to loose wickets ...; are you in the team? Team India doesn't represent our country; it is just a club promoted by BCCI. Let us reserve the use of 'We' for definte reasons and occassions!

"...There was very little Kiwi skipper Vettori could do as 'The Wall', which had been impregnated by Jesse Ryder [Images] on Saturday in a rare moment of imprudence..."

Dravid, the Wall "impregnated" by Ryder???

My goodness, people just use words for the sake of it! This author doesnt understand what "to impregnate" means...

PS: to impregnate means to fill, or to make pregnant!!!

Nothing wrong with it. Impregnate also means to permeate. Because Rider is not destructive pace, it is okay to say he was able permeate through the defensive wall of Dravid. I think it is okay to use. Anyway one can say safely that Dravid is an impregnable wall in Indian batting.
