"i am unmarried, who will marry me and when my marriage and i am born in korea...any body tell me when i will marry and she will control me or i will control her name...." yes this is slogan written by South Africa fans standing infront of IPL staff in the year 5 June 2000.

Soooo Sad to See Cricket is pirority
by Sudhakar Muthuknnan on Mar 24, 2009 09:28 PM  | Hide replies

I am a die hard fan of cricket. But if it comes to internal matters Country comes first.

I beleive the first preference should be given to elections rather than just a cricket.

What as a Citizen pirority to vote and vote good people at the parliment to voice for our country progress.

I am sad to see people against moving cricket. Come on guys in this economy slums i would give pirority to elect a noble person than just throwing some hard comments.

I am very sad to see BCCI not comprimising with election officers. Which clearly tells me that they are working out for the margin of dollars instead of countries pirority.

Shiit shame on BCCI. I would not watch any match.

dude...we could have had both...IPL and elections... By stopping the IPL for security reasons..Congress has implicitly admitted that India's security is weak..

I dont understand why people are shouting at IPL..they had to host it...if they were not able to host it in india..then they hosted it in some other country..

Fine..dont watch..I will definitely watch.

what are you talking about guys. All IPL matches will start in the evening IST...and by that time the polling will be over. So how do you think people will not VOTE because they will be busy watching IPL?

Want para military,Z ,Y ,commandos, black cats ,blue cats,..... our own police, security guard,... comedy is even our own
Gujarat tiger (mouse) wants ALL the central FORCES and state force during Campaign for LS election.

What should our Union Home Minister do?

If this party leaders had told ,we will manage with min security then IPL could have been gone through along the side.

Delhi Games 2010 is bound to fail
by arul m on Mar 24, 2009 09:24 PM  | Hide replies

THis Suresh Kalmadi wants to settle his next 10 generations, hence to delhi 2010 games, it is biggest drain on the public resources. IPL is played on the private money, and it is benefits common persons too in many ways. Whereas,Kalmadi's flop show is a big drain on our sparse resources

elections and IPL can co-exist
by arul m on Mar 24, 2009 09:20 PM

Does it mean, that
a. No traffic police will monitor roads till elections
b. No soilder will watch over our borders till the elections are over
c. all we talk about is to provide security to about 88 individuals and theis support staffs of which less than 25% will be from other nations, Such a huge nation, can we not provide secutity to these men when elections are on

As for as public goes, when was the last time you felt secured in a mall or a cinema hall or a train or railway station. We have always remained easy targets, elections or no election, so how does it matter
