Its the UPA govt. who did this damage, it was not impossible to hold IPL with elections, but the congress did not coordinate.

Consumer here means we the cricket lovers.

If you have little knowledge of economics, how it works, then only you will able to understand it.

Hey,

Point one person in this world not looking for money... everything for money man... Just think, Only they are making money.. if play happen, many will get benefit, from the ground man to Top officials.. Atleast this makes some money and gives oppo to earn something in recession time..

Only who have much money will go to ground to watch money.. If sponsors have some money they will give...

We are not going to loose anything.. infact, we are giving oppo to South African to earn something..

i hate modi - but he did the right thing
by slash five on Mar 24, 2009 08:22 PM

there's too much money riding the ipl for it to be canceled or postponed. ideally, it would have taught the high flying modi and bcci to learn a bitter lesson in monopoly behaviour. they have stifled icl from holding a matches all over india. we have to thank icl for ipl. without whom ipl wouldnt have come up i nthe first place (remember, bcci used to laugh at T20!)

when the Congress govt. is not ready to coordinate, what all options he had. Lalit Modi has taken a right decision.

Lalit Modi done the right thing....blame it to Home Minister
by Comming Soon on Mar 24, 2009 08:17 PM  | Hide replies

1. He showed the guts to challenge the Home Minister who can't provide security to country men.
2. He is much better business man than PC.
3. He would have generate lots of revenue for India if it would have been played in India.

Now what will do PC and Congress? They should resign.

IPL 2 by south africa.

Good that it is shifted from humhara bharat. At least the indian viewers will watch less and work more. These cricket matches played for money for sponsorors, crocketers and some few people should be banned in this country for two years at least and some other games like hockey, football, tennis, etc should be played.

Right Decision
by Guest on Mar 24, 2009 08:14 PM

This is perhaps the best decision in the interest of the nation and in the personal interest of Lalit Modi who just wanted it to happen. Pride at stake !!! Only people to suffer are the sponsors
