All Intl news report "IPL goes out of India cos of security RISK The Indian Government’s stand of inability to provide security for the IPL tournament just reflects the incompetency of UPA led current Indian Government. It also reflects the lack of confidence on its own security condition. Its security arrangements have failed a number of times with bomb blasts across all the major cities in last few years, when there was neither any election or IPL tournament. It is not a question, whether there is an election or not. If Indian Government can not provide security for a domestic tournament like IPL; what about providing security for Commonwealth Games, what about security for Cricket World Cup and what about its candidature for Olympics? Also, what about if elections are again declared around that time? Does Indian Government stand not prove Australian players’ stand correct that India is not safe place to participate in Commonwealth Games? It was an opportunity to show the world that India can handle it all. It was opportunity to show the world that India is a safe place to work, safe place to travel, and safe place to play. At least, that the Government should have shown some faith on its security forces

Please ignore or "report abuse" people who unnecessarily criticize Sachin even after he scores 100s. The true Indian Cricket Fans know his value and I think that is enough.

I am not making him God, yes he gets paid for his work but I do not think other players play for free. He is better than most others in his field and lets give him due respect for that.

KINDLY NOTE: All the people who are senselessly blogging out here... the true picture is that the UPA govt has asked the IPL organisers to have the IPL tournaments AFTER THE ELECTIONS, as maximum security has to be focussed on the Elections.
Nobody has denied security for IPL, but it's just not possible to focus on Elections & IPL simultaneously, so IPL board was requested to have their IPL tournament after the elections, to ensure complete security for the matches & the players, but they are so adamant to have the IPL as per their schedule, and it is the IPL organisers who have decided to have their matches outside our Country.
PLS DO NOT jump to conclusions, and blame the UPA govt. It's some BJP neta's who have politicised this issue, to criticise the UPA govt.
Narendra Modi has offered to have the IPL in Gujarat, and promises to give security to entire IPL, he could not protect the people of Gujart in Ahmedabad, how can he make such a statement ?? Actually he needs the money for his party's election expenses.
Think over it guys... and finally IPL is just money making business to all the business barons and actors involved in it, common man is not going to be benefitted at all from the IPL.

THIS IS NOT ISSUE OF IPL OR COMMON MAN.IT IS ISSUE OF CAPABILITIES OF GOVT.TO PROVIDE SECURITY.HOW WE WILL FIGHT TERRORISM WHEN WHEN OUR GOVT.IS NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE SECURITY FOR CRICKET MATCHES.ALTHOUGH THESE MATCHES ARE AT TIME OF ELECTION,GOVT. SHOULD HAVE SOME CONTINGENCY PLAN.WHAT WILL INDIAN GOVT. DO IN ANY EMERGENCY. SURE INDIAN WILL BE SLAUGHTERED AT THAT TIME AS THEY WERE AT TIME OF 26/11 IN TAJ HOTEL.
everybody see cheerleaders show interesting than the match. Hence the match should be of 15 overs and cheerleaders show time should be increase. Hahahahahahaha what an idea sirji

We are quickly becoming a laughing stock and a joke in the eyes of the global sports fraternity.... An Indian premier league which has been advertised as the marquee event cannot be held in India due to bad timing and mismanagement, so reminiscent of what happens in West Indies or Pakistan........ But now India which has taken pride in being the headquarters of cricket now cannot hold its own IPL in its own country...what can be more shameful than that??
Now we have to depend on the largesse of the ECB or the South African board and they would surely extract a huge mileage and garner a significant chunk of the advertising money...We have brought ourselves to our knees in front of the Brits and they must be chuckling now...that yes, even if they don't enslave us anymore, we depend upon them to help us out a quandary..........I can never imagine the ECB shifting a few county matches to India due to logistical issues...

Who wants to apply for visa in a convict country where a moronic team has won Sydney test match by cheating, They took bum-p catches(1 bounce catches) claimin it to be out and being helped by the moronic, cunnin, and corrupt Steve Bucknor.
Australians should be ashamed of themselves.
Australian players like Ricky Ponting(Who is captain of Australian team) is now playin under Saurav Ganguly as captain in Kolkatta Knight rider's.

Congress-UPA is solely responsible for the BCCI's decision to shift the IPL out of the country Has India become so unsecured like Pakistab that a domestic tournament has to go abroad? The whole country is disturbed with this move sending wrong signals about India's security condition, We used to hear about security threats to sporting events in Pakistan, but now this is happening in India. With the blessings of UPA/congress After this, how will India we respond to foreign teams who will travel to the country and how will we convince the tourists and players that India is secured for the Delhi Commonwealth Games? Alternatively govt can have an understanding with the terrorists not to attack hotels or non-election oriented stuffs.
