Which young players are u talkin about, How many young players from IPL made it to Indian Team in any format.

Just name 1 player.

FYI Badrinath, Gautham Gambhir, Yusuf Pathan and Suresh Raina had already played for India bfore playin in IPL.

I can think of only Amit Mishra that too coz he tokk a hat-trick.

IPL does not alklow any player to showcase his talent(especially bowlers) coz it is in complete favour of batsman.

The batsman that u get are moronic batsman like Yusuf Pathan who is more a hitter than a genuine player, FYI his averahge in ODI's is only 14.00 :-)

Wow what a list of gr8 players u have mentioned, Those morons did not even last for 1 ODi, Manpreet Goni looked completly lost and looked like a club side bowler.

IPL is just non-sense Cricket which does not help the bowlers at all.

In fact gr8 bowlers like Glenn Mcgrath struggle in this format, The only way for a bowler to suceed in T20 is luck which Amit Mishra and Sohail Tanveer had in last edition of IPL.

IPL is just a batsman game and nothing else.

Sorry IPL is just a masala entertainment(with morons like Vijay Mallya, Lalit Modi, pro-s like Preity ZSinta, SRK and Shilpa Shetty), cheer girls and money in guise of Cricket :-)

bringing into limelight.doesnt mean tht he has to plsay for india.atleast his talent can be exposed which a player does nt normally in shorter version ofthe game.this wd create atleast an opportunity for the selectors to think abt replacing a player whos nt performing in T20 or shorter version of the game

Decision on IPL host by Tuesday night: Modi
by kailash gupta on Mar 24, 2009 03:12 PM

THIS GREEDY DOG LALIT MODI IS RUNNING TO SOUTH AFRICA AND ENGLAND TO HOST IPL.IPL MEANS INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE WHICH UNDER ALL CICUMSTANCES SHOULD BE HELD IN INDIA.PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY SHOUD REALISE THAT BCCI AND MODI ARE JUST AFTER MONEY MAKING BUSINESS AND NOT CRICKET AS SUCH IPL SHOULD BE IGNORED AND PISSED.

Why ru just mentioning about 2007 world cup, What about:

1.India beating hell out of Australia in CB tri-series in Australia(which was the last ever tri-series in Australia again) by winning the best of 3 finals 2-0 where Sachin Tendulkar scored 117 and 91 runs in both finals.

2.India winning 8 match Test series 3-2(4 test match series in Australia(3-mobile test series) and 4 test match series in India(DLF test series)).

3.India beating Australia in Perth test match when Australia had won previous Sydney test match by cheating :-)

IPL going outside India

If IPL goes outside India, how can we call it "Indian" anymore?

why not!!. Its Indian Teams owned by Indians run by India and money spend by Indian companies and held based in Indian Prime TV timings. Ground doesnt matter much , cos 90% money comes from TV and Stadium advertisements.

IPL itself is not Indian, How can u have patriotic feelings for a buisness venture which is only about masala entertainment(morons like Vijay Mallya, Lalit Modi and pro-s like Preity Zinta, SRK and Shilpa Shetty), cheer girls and money in guise of Cricket :-)

Comparision between Ricky Ponting and Kevin Pietersen............
by SachinTheGreat on Mar 24, 2009 02:56 PM  | Hide replies

Australian players like Ricky Ponting(Who is captain of Australian team) is now playin under Saurav Ganguly as captain in Kolkatta Knight rider's.

Whereas Kevin Pietersen who was bought for 7.5 crores by Banglore Royal Challengers in now their captain replacin Rahul Dravid.

Look Australian captain is now slave of Kevin Pietersen an Englishman just like Austra;lians are slaves of British queen :-)
