saf has better weather,pitches and their cricketers will be available for whole ipl also cheaper than england so i wont be surprised if there are jam packed crowds in saf but i wish it was in india i hope another underdog wins this year maybe rbc or deccan

actually APRIL/MAY is quite chilly in SA its the beginning of winter but at least there's no rain its only CAPE TOWN that may have rain due their geog placing other than that it will be great for players and crowds
Hi, Atlast IPL2 is happening.Yes it is definetly a loss for our indian audience but it is a lesson for our politicians who have taken undue mileage out of this affair.Whether it is the ruling party or opposition , they have used IPL as a platform to fire shots against each other. We should be with BCCI and IPL coz they have made it happen with so much opposition. Somebody out there told about BCCI knowing about elections, i would say elections where notified only last month with dates....how come the preplanned IPL2 could come to know of election comission's decision before hand and that to with dates. As a true humble cricket lover i stand with BCCI and IPL2 ...........shame on our political situation
I planned with my cricket team have Delhi Vs Kolkata match in firojshah kotla but every thing seems to be eroitic and It's not a good feeling. I don't know what the thinking of our government. Is it help them anyway no I don't think. This only hampering our country image that with pakistan and srilanka we have also a unsafe country.
Instead of shifting the entire tournament outside India for the sake security why don't we pay for some security personnel from UK/USA or even Singapore etc?

Chidu never said its not safe to play cricket.He only said 2 things 1) State govt are responsible for Security & they must give the Go Ahead 2) Do not hold Matches on 3 Days of Elections.He said India is safe to play cricket otherwise no sporting events would have taken place.This is a Trick by Lalit Modi & Sharad Pawar to make money by taking the league overseas.Did not Pawar as BCCI President know when the elections were. These are businessmen who do not have the peoples interest at heart.They only have their own.The GOVT MUST CRACK DOWN on BCCI & PULL High Flying Lalit Modi to the ground...Secondly Lalit will not have to hold the League matches in Rajasthan Cricket association where he lost the Elections because of Fraud.Every Indian must not watch the PL.By the way the next year where will Lalit Modi hold it..ENGLAND , AUSTRALIA or maybe in PAKISTAN...Because for Money LALIT will do anything..Just remember that you read it here first

I just cant understand why cant lalith and party understand the improtance of general elections. Its not an event for the politicians, its an event of our nation building. its the sad thing for our country just because that it seems that BCCI has no idea as how much the advantage will be to South Africa in terms of revenue and cricket developments also a shame to our system as we cant protect our players . Secondly the matter can be resolved with colloboration with ICC in its international cricket shedule .
