It seems BCCI and Lalit Modi are determined to make money by satisfying a section of high class society. Mr.Lalit Modi did not forecast the timing of the IPL2 dates properly. Every body new well before that there will be General Elections during April - MAY for our country which is the most important as constitutional wise and second is it is the examinations season for all the students of different classess & courses. He (Modi) is just spoiling the younger generation by planning this event during examinations period. As every body knew what happened to Sri Lankan players recently. Lalit Modi does not know the quantum of risk and work involved in conducting the elections. During the period of 45 days of IPL & Elections anything can happen. It would be like giving an opportunity to the Ghost elements. Mr.Lalit Modi, first think of country and the Indian IPL fans. He should change the dates accordingly to suit and satisfy above two if he is a really Indian.

Its not about what is important - Elections or Cricket ? But what is the message we are passing to the World by letting IPL staged outside India - Are we not secured ? Then let this communist / religiously biased / corrupt / UPA with no balls accept that we are not secured in our own home. Also this decision will definately loom over Commonwealth games which is to take place in Delhi next year. It would be tough for the Government to the persue the International community that we are safe & have robust security in place.
UPA has been the biggest upset in the Indian history when it comes to exhibit stern decision making ability. This Goverment has surely let us down.
