if the govt cannot provide security for such small events, how is it possible for them to provide security for such a large nation? Only surmise is that govt could not extract what it wanted from ipl.

Its the money that is forcing them to go outside. think about it. Will any of these people involved in the IPL cast their vote ?
When we have a great minority affairs minister, Janab Abdul Rehman Antulay who was all praise for the bravery of his jihadi brothers from across the border, what can we expect? If any Chinese Minister had justified any terrorist attack in their Country, he would have faced the firing squad the next day.
Will the BCCI allow the players involved in the IPL to vote? will they be flown out of India after the players cast their vote. I guess its a I don't care attitude.
Porkistan wants to damage the economy of India and we keep saying we are resilient. But now even if the attack on Cricketers happened outside India, the UPA governement is weak kneed and helps the Porkis agenda. The UPA government is a bunch of losers.
