In the time of recession, we should all involve in productive activities. Holding IPL not only waste the productive time (many billion hours), but it also reduce the purchasing power of consumers. Indian cicket fans are unaware of the fact that they are being taxed for this event. Their money- the money they earn with lot of efforts- is taken out from their pockets. With ther money some one else (BCCI, media, cricketers, etc.) are enjoying. Is their families donot have right to enjoy with the money they earn with day and night efforts? Donot be crazy, think rationally. IPL is spoiling not only the cricket, but also other games, and the nation as a whole.

I too agree with Jagjit singh, No need to support IPL Players on such important national issue of election.
Shame on the Congress Govt for allowing the shift of the IPL to a third country! we still run after the english !!!! This gives a great message to the world " INDIA IS NOT SAFE. COME ON YOUR OWN RISK". Perhaps the Congress party itself should shift to England to run the govt as it is not safe in India !!!! Govt should be firm. Either provide security (reduce the security for ministers) or shift the dates or cancel it . If held outside, change the name.
