I think he always get bogged down by something to not to score centuries back to back. may be supertetious. He will intentionally throw his wicket next test match. Viru the great will hit another double hundred or triple or 150 because he can wack both good balls(mostly good balls) and bad balls all over the park with his latest mastered strokes which are ondrives,pulls to all over onside,flicks along with his gifted offside play. The problem with Sachin is he dont keep the momentum going by hitting all over the park every few balls. For example, once he reached 150 and india is in good position, he could not score quickly. Anyhow no point talking about Sachin because Sehway is true batsman who has right temperament and approach to batting. He plays every form of the game in samw way irrespective of situations. Added to that he has strong defence and he keeps accelerating every milestone he reaches as part of his innings especially once he reaches 150, he accelerates fast. thats why he scored 2 triples, 2 double hundreds and 8 150 hundreds.

Do you remember the poor run of Sehwag for months when selectors had no option but to take him out of even 16 member squad? There is no doubt Sehwag is great player but he had his own issues and got many chances. Let us respect each player who is playing international cricket after earning the place with Hard and smart work.

He just made 3 centuries in the past 4 matches. He averages about 62 in the last 12 months when compared to Sehwag who has an average of 52 in the last 12 months.

Dost whatever you think or say but remember 2 things. Both Sachin and Viru are great player. We as Indian should be prod of both. Sachin can't be compared with anybody. Even Viru will tell you that.

dude all these Sachin abusers have "short memory loss", for instance u can't even remember India's last four tests,(no wonder u can't remember 90's indian cricket, literally a "one man show", yes that was sachin's show. that was the period when this great batsman shoulderd his team single handedly) and in last 4 tests, sachin has scored 3 centuries. u cant even remember that. sehvag n sachin, both r great batsmen but plays in different ways. one is a fearless attacker, who will demolish opposition in a ruthless manner. even if he pays in his prime form there is a chance to get him out, but sachin is different, bcse of that difference sachin is known as world's one of the best batsman, after playing 20 years of intl cricket, that guy still producing some valuable runs in style.i think u wil have to study what is test cricket is all abt, then only u will understand what makes sachin greater than sehwag. but at this moment sehwag is playing better than anybody else, bcse luck is with him, he is a great batsman,may be best batsman at this moment bcse luck is with him, bcse of his playing nature, luck is the main factor in his sucess, but he need to prove alot to consider him ahead of sachin.
For the past few years, especially since 2003, we have been winning more matches, fighting in all matches, and more importantly winning abroad. Although, the series win has been eluding us as yet, I am sure we have a very good chance to win a serious test series abroad. Only fools can lose the series from here. A superb effort from the Indian team although we have to address two serious issues and I am sure, Dhoni and Kirsten would be taking care of it. 1) We were not able to bundle Kiwis in first innings even after their minor score of 66-6. 2) The tactics and field setting for McCullum and O'Brien were strange and completely ridiculous. Kiwis were 8 wickets down and we still had a complete 5th day to take care of any extra lead made by Kiwis. We should have set attacking field and compel them to play aerial shots and make mistakes. Brendon comfortably played in that one hour or so. But all in all a very good test match. Special kudos to Sachin for his 42nd century. I hope he is fit for next match and surely he would score another century in this series.

dude, you are talking about a team thats unencumbered and built on top of something thats been built by sachin, ganguly and dravid along with laxman. sehwag never had the baggae of the past, the politics and stuff, the new batsmen come fresh and with a new confidence. i would not want to compare these greats - they are good in their own ways.
if you see the graph, india has done steadily better and better over a period of time. before ganguly the graph was going up very slowly, later after ganguly's stint its taken off, and now its really smooth sailing. i hope the momentum is sustained for some more time, until we beat the oz team convincingly in their backyard at least once.
