You can never please Indian fans
by pradosh mitter on Mar 16, 2009 01:24 PM  | Hide replies

Try whatever you might, Dhoni and Co, some one or the other will keep verbally bashing you.

Don't listen to people bad mouthing you for losing the last game, it appears that they've forgotten the fact that India has finally won a series in NZ after 40 years!

Dhoni is a zero. It is only the news channels who is making the hype. Look at his personal records. He is zero

Personal records are a zero? Really?

What u think 4385 runs from 121 innings at an average of 49.26 and a top score of 183 not out is a zero? Plus 132 catches and 42 stumpings to his keeping credits!

I gather you know nothing about cricket.

I beg to differ. I'd agree had you said he was not a very good keeper. There are better keepers in the country, yes. But consider the overall package he offers as a player. Keeper-batsman-Leader. I think he definitely is not a ZERO, as mentioned by someone here.

Chill out dude ... Its a great team now ... its just that the press and the janta need not come with some extra sweet outrageous words now ... just leave the team alone to find there way - lets watch them play ... i hope u guys do the same too right or do u get comments on every project u complete ... or do u get laid off for every bug undetected ... SEE FOR YOURSELF

indian consistency!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by rishi pahwa on Mar 15, 2009 10:52 PM  | Hide replies

well the indian team is showing consistency in the wrong thing these days...............which is losing the final match of every series that they win already before going into the final match and they lose it by big margins too!!!.....they did it in sri lanka 2 times recently and now nz....wud hav done against england too in the matches were not scrapped off...........also what magic has rohit sharma cast on the selectors....he isn't going out of the team despite poor shows.. i can't remember playing him more than 20 balls anytime....if the selectors are looking to groom him who will groom uthappa and pujara...aren't they youngsters and they are equally good fielders as rohit sharma too.....rohit should be given a lesson like dinesh karthik and parthiv patel so that he knows the value of his place in the team...

Rockstars of Cricket!!!!!!!!!!!
by devegowda on Mar 15, 2009 01:19 PM

Rockstars went down spinelessly even without a fight. These people are found wanting even if the ball does a lil bit of the pitch. A medium pace bowler like Ryder made these rockstars dance to his tunes. Indian batsmen's batting especially Rohit's batting was a pain in the backside

One word for Rock stars show Pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

indian attitude
by Ajai Jacob on Mar 15, 2009 12:09 PM  | Hide replies

The typical Indian heart is very big!We win a few matches and let the other team win the rest!(in true sportsman spirit?) We will never win matches continuously like the australians or south africans.
Records in consecutive match wins:
1.australia-21
2.south africa-19
3.india-9
As is evident, there is a huge difference between the world's no.1&2 teams and us.Hence the chances of us bridging the gap and becoming no.1 or 2 is very little.

i agree.we take few wins and make it in 2 a big DEAL.n since there is no pressure they dont play as hard.im not complainin.yes india has played good recently but it is just good not great.we treat our players like god and give them imortality.they need to realise if they wan2 b da best team in the world PLAY CONSISTENT CRICKET AND WIN AS MANY AS THEY can.like australia and s.a .hopefully this is the time for indian cricket to finaly dominate.bt it wont hapen wit players like irfan, rohit sharma, and munaf in the team.

problem is that 21 wins often takes 2 or 3 more players than routine eleven.WE don't have THAT much appetite for winning ;-) ;-)

Rohit sharma messed up everything today.
by sravan nayak on Mar 14, 2009 11:46 PM  | Hide replies

1) is not hitting ball. just collecting infront of bat.
2) He is poor starter. In odi max one over you can spend to adjust to condition.

3) He should see some innings from michael bevan. how he plays at no 7 with great avg, wins matches.

mean time it would not have affeceted much in 6 or 7 position,or if india top 3 would have fired. He should change his lazy style and try hitting ball atleast 7/10 balls to get more scoring oppurtunities.

agree with u completely..he just suks.it was hisgame to show how much talent he has, and he just disapointed.bt u cant just blame him non of the batsmen read the pitch as it seamed.this was the only pitch that assisted the bowler and the indian team DISSAPOINTED.bring bak sreesanth.we really need a 3rd seamer.praveen kumar just not good if he cant swing the ball.
