A let down by team India
by The Patriot on Mar 14, 2009 06:43 PM  | Hide replies

Todays defeat shows the difference in mental make up between our team and the Aussies, lets face it friends we have a long way to go before we can challenge the Aussies, our mental toughness isnt just there.

Guys,Don't keep comparing with other teams. In games, one should concentrate when it is really required. After that there is no need to keep the intensity. It is not worth it. A guy who is in slips shold just concentrate for few seconds per all not all through the 3-4 minutes of the over.

y dhoni is guilty?
by vinay on Mar 14, 2009 06:33 PM

y dhoni is guilty? coz, he knew they didnt even gv a reasonable fight in the odi n they were only responsible for the lack of interest in the last odi after wining series n also knew they had done no hard plan goin in the last odi as they were busy sight seeing in nz the prev day.

weaknesses came to the light.
by vinay on Mar 14, 2009 06:26 PM  | Hide replies

once the ball started moving n pitches becoming typical like that of nz , our batsman started showing their true technical weakness.
heros of flat bed pitch including dhoni, got them on the wrong foot today.

That's true Indian batsmen shown their weakness for good bowling pitch. They want flat pitches and play cricket like baseball...

well batsmen did fall dwn...agnst swing...bt wht cost us the mtch is no swing in scnd inng.

i still v hav a gud nouf battn line up..to put good scre...on swinging trcks..in tests...

bt moreover our bwlrs r capable of bowling nz out for...100 if our btsman score 150...

so test series is ours...

if u feel otherwise..well m ready for a bet...

more bowlers should playing on afraiding pitches
by Fakruddin on Mar 14, 2009 05:57 PM  | Hide replies

today more bowlers like munaf, zaheer, irfan should playing on afraiding pitches useful for bowlers and not extra batsmen like rohit
sehwag cant bat on afraiding pitch and good on only happy pitch for batsman ball not having movement
but jaffer playing good on this type pitch
opening job tough always
kaif is pressure batsman and not careless like Raina
yousuf should come at 3 position he is not pressure batsman
yousuf not given chance to bowl today but ishanth useless bowler bowling lot of overs today also praveen in other matches

best india team for winning on afraiding pitches:

jaffer
sachin
yousuf
yuvraj
kaif
doni
irfan
harbajan
zaheer
munaf
rp sing
