Sheer nonsense. Losing one match is OK. After all the team has just won a ODI series in Newzeland. The other day the same team was hailed as world beaters and now they are being called all sorts of names. Come on. Grow up. After all there can be only winner and today it was Newzeland.

India just lost one match and has already won the series. Previously indians were losing more matches. Dhoni is a great captain. Hats off Dhoni

Indian cricket team is a dusty team !!!
by Nilesh Majrekar on Mar 14, 2009 04:57 PM  | Hide replies

Guyz

Understand....except for the last one day which was today all the remaining pitches were just flat pitches...same as the sub continent pitches...i wont forget the the earlier tour of indias tour to nz where the indians were thrashed...they cant show their skill on actual pitches like that of today where the bowl was doing everything...seaming and troubling the batsman...and as per our tradition..if one goes the other says main aata hoon...we truely lived upto that.......
In the test matches the pitches should be like today...seaming and the bowl moveing everywhere...troubling the batsman...i bet indians wud be finding even 100 to score on these kind of todays pitches...check out todays score for ur reference...

Well said. But don't forget that though we lost the last time around, but still that series was closely fought than the result actually shows. I would love if the matches are played in those conditions because we have got the arsenal to trouble them even more this time around.

viru
by Harish Giri on Mar 14, 2009 04:56 PM

I think the worst shot of the match was played by Viru. I have never seen him and Dravid dancing down the track and getting successful against the medium pacers. Had he not got out or stayed put for some more time the Kiwis were definitely in great trouble. But having said that it his game and other batters must also share the responsibility. I am just a lit bit disappointed becasue according to Dhoni they played their best team yet they got thrashed. But I am more happy for a series win. Congrats India keep it up.

what rubbish yaar, please do not drag at least this team in all this crap. they are real heroes who are genuinely trying their best to perform. Success and failures are part of the game. We all are humans finally. It is fantastic gesture by MS Dhoni that he apologized to us.

Dhoni went on deep sea fishing for two nights
by Vaidyanathan Sundaram on Mar 14, 2009 04:40 PM  | Hide replies

The loss is due to utter non-focus on the part of entire team going in for deep sea fishing the previous nights and lack of net practice. can any one deny this?
