Mills and Southee frustrated the Indians.
by Sonali Baruah on Mar 08, 2009 08:29 PM  | Hide replies

New Zealand had a big ninth wicket partnership. Indian bowlers were not up to the mark in shaving off the last few batsmen Mills and Southee. But I hope that the Indian bowlers learn are learning from each and every mistake which they commit.

With a handsome lead in hand, Dhoni showed a lot of heart in allowing Munaf Patel to bowl despite his dismal performace, so that he could regain his rythem. This is what makes Dhoni such a great hit with his team mates.

Did you really think so?

Well I think he did not had choice as it was end of the game (last 10 hours) and he did not want to take risk by giving bowling to a new bowler. Yes we had bowlers but none of them were fast.

Kumar:

Pity that he didn't allow Biswajyoti Bandyopadhyaya to play.... tsk tsk tsk ..

:) maybe he has a soft spot only for Munaf, eh?.... he should care for every Indian cricket player's rhythm, no?... and they can pay him back by conceding 200 plus in their 10.... what say?... :)

Tendulkar unlucky to miss double century today
by Sonali Baruah on Mar 08, 2009 08:28 PM

I rememeber that India were in the 45th over of their innings and had Tendulkar batted on there was every chance he would have become the first double-centurion in ODI cricket. He needed 37 more at that point and if physically possible, Tendulkar would have tried his best. Is'nt it?

''Pak Aawaz'' go to hell
by Bob Raj on Mar 08, 2009 08:02 PM  | Hide replies

one thing for sure this moron "Pak Aawaz" is not Paki. He is Indian and that too South Indian. He is creating hatred here.
A Paki will never write himself Porkistan and only south Indians use "th" for writing "t"
Go to hell Pak Aawaz.
Hey my south Indian dudes (my message is not for you)...I love you all

CAN ANYBODY CHALLENGE INDIA AGAIN? WHO DARES?
by Sameer Bhagwat on Mar 08, 2009 07:56 PM

My dear friends, you are just witnessing the beginning of a new era. From here on India will win more and lose less in any field you take for instance. Be it sports, technology, economy or anything for that matter. A NEW INDIA IS RISING which will cast a shadow on the known superpowers in this world. The golden age of India is dawning. Just google "PERFECT DEMOCRACY BOMBAX" and know more. Jai Hind.

Flat pitch BULLY
by Rocky on Mar 08, 2009 07:54 PM  | Hide replies

This message for people who used to say Yuvraj is a flat pitch bully and he can only play in India and lacks his skills in test cricket.Folks he won Man of the series in Sri Lanka and played Mendis with an ease.Yesterday we all know that how he lifted the run rate with his blistering 60 balls 87 which includes 6 sixes. Now Those people have to eat their words and I'm quite sure he is going to prove critics wrong. His style speaks for itself and he baks up bit of attitude with his fine skills.Even though commentators were saying if NZ want to win this match they have to send Yuvraj back to pavilion before Sachin. We all know what kind of damage this kid can do.Nothing more to say "India keep going"....

I am a yuvi fan, but the pitches he scored arent bowling pitches by any standard, 382 on a bowling pitch, u mus be kidding, he is improving no doubt, but the real test is when he would be able to score centuries overseas(Aus, NZ, SA,WI, ENG), we should still remember how he used to dance while facing Aus pacers in aus, Hope he would change it this NZ test series

Sachin is once in a lifetime player
by arul m on Mar 08, 2009 07:32 PM  | Hide replies

It's a pity we do not appreciate good wins in this forum, India played well eventhough as Dhoni rightly admitted it let NZ to come too close for comfort, they fought well and ended up as winners.

The indian Master has played yet another peach of an innings, and we are busy writing his obit. Silly. When are we going to celebrate our successes, the way other nations do? Wont we never rise above regional differences

If Newzealand had played wisely they would have won the match. Still 5 overs were left. Sometimes i doubt whether match fixing does the trick.
