Author has rightly pointed out that pakistan has to fight terror on its own. They cannot expect Cricket team to risk their lives and tour pakistan. Many pakistan diplomats and cricketers are repeatedly saying that cricket should not stop and teams should still come to pakistan, which is absolutely ridiculous.
After this incident they have no right to say this. instead pakistan should try to make itself safe first. It is becoming a terror hub and pose a threat to India and the world
Obama wants to go down in history as the one to have brokered a peace deal in the Mid east. Consequently, he wants to be seen close enough to the Muslims as a neutral player between Israel and the Arab states surrounding it. The multi-billion dollar aid package for Pak, and a timetable for withdrawal from Iraq, are both music to Arab ears. He has also eliminated the rhetoric of human rights when dealing with China to have some leverage there. So, China is now asking Obama to pressure India to reach political acomodation with Pak. Obviously, Obama is reverting back to the traditional power base of his party and has no piece of political cake left over for India, more so because none is needed by the minority-centered UPA, and a weak NDA. USA has multiplied its non military aid by 5 times to Pakistan and we all know where all this aid will end up and history is proof for the same. I request that all patriotic Indians should write messages to Obama on either his website/blog or to the white house website to reconsider their decision as their decision will cost lots of innocent lives in peace loving countrires like India.
