Hunting with the Hound, Running with the Hare

These Pakistanis consider themselves very smart. On one hand they are helping Taliban (They give millions of American dollars to Taliban in Swat) and on the other hand want others to give them millions to fight with Taliban. Miandad is closely associated with Dawood Ibrahim and now he is sermonizing about Terrorism. Unless Pakistanis do not give up their opportunist and blackmailing tactic, Pakistan will go downhill. They do not want to stop Taliban, but blackmailing world community threatening that failure of Pakistan as a state will harm the world. They want the world community to believe that Pakistan's survival is the responsibility of everyone, but not of Pakistanis themselves. Such double game is self destructive and can not go on for ever.

It is really sad

After seeing Mumbai attack, similar attack on sport persons can happen in India also. It is really sad that this part of world become unsafe. All the so called leaders of this region divide people for votes and make people to hate each other. What will be the solution for this? I don't think it will stop in near future

Yes, it is about terrorism!

A further analysis also establishes the following:

1. The terror attack on the Sri Lankan Government has given a tool in the hands of the Pakistani government to malign India. There is no gainsaying the fact that the UPA Government, thanks to its vote bank politics and with a view to appease a particular minority community, went out of the way, using the late Hemant Karkare as a tool, to establish the so called Hindu terrorism. After the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, the utterances of some of the (ir)responsible Ministers of Congress further aggravated the situation and helped in playing into the hands of the Pakistani establishment. These are handy tools for the Pakistan establishment and already they have started talking of `foreign hand' in the Lahore attack. Slowly they will say it is the `Hindu' hand. This is the contribution of the `secular' and `non-communal' UPA Government to world terrorism. Given this phobia of minority votes of the UPA Government and our `secular' politicians, who can blame the Pakistan Government.
2. The second is the comment of Javed Miandad about terrorism. Lest one forget, Miandad's son is married to the daughter of Dawood Ibrahim. Will Miandad help in handing over Dawood Ibrahim to India? If not, it is better he keeps his trap shut!

Don't lose sight of the bigger picture......
by SS Kumar on Mar 04, 2009 09:29 AM  | Hide replies

The attack on Sri Lankan cricket team in Pak has brought forth interesting comments. India is taking pride in its "I told you so earlier" attitude and is going all out to run down Pak. The fact remains that this could have happened in India as well. Since terrorism is a common enemy of Pak, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India, it is time the four governments got together and evolved a common strategy to combat the same. The need of the hour is for the govern- ments to stand unified in its fight against terror and arrive at some key decisions like not to give sanctuary on its territory to fleeing terrorists, exchange of info etc.

The fact is, Bangladesh is keen to crush terrorism in its soil; India has always been keen and so is SL who actually lead by crushing LTTE.

Where is Pakistan in the picture? Even the FBI and CIA believe there is no point sharing intellegence with Pakistan cos it goes straight into the hands of Jihadis. We can even talk to Afghanistan but certainly not Pakistan.

Yeah, the first thing is for all (especially Pakistan) to own up it's own sponsoring terrorism, which is what India is trying to make Pakistan to do and which is what you are calling "running-down".

Mr Kumar, you think yourself over intelligent. Such over intelligence made Arjuna Ranatunga send cricket team to Pakistan. When hundreds died in Mumbai, Ranatunga told that politics is not to be mixed with cricket. Now opportunists like Arjuna Ranatunga should realize that killing of innocents is NOT POLITICAL PROBLEM BUT A GRAVE HUMANITARIAN CRISIS.

He said in yesterday's interview that Pakistan Govt gave the gaurantee, not him. What an escapist and a fool to belive terrorists were sportsmen and wouldnt target cricketers.

Imran has himself used fundamentalism for political gain and indirectly supported Taliban. That is why Imran and Miandad (relative of Dawood Ibrahim) were confident to gurantee security. But Alas, the terrorists are spinning out of control of their masters.

Sooner rather than later the jihadis of India will target indian cricket. The jihadis are waiting for their Congress- UPA allies to get re-elected, perhaps, as their priority right now. Then India will become another Pakistan, just bigger. Muslim vote-bank is more important, who cares a damn for the country?

Dont forget, we are just 10 - 15 years behind Pakistan in terms of Islomic teroresism!!

What happened in Pakistan has already happened in Mumbai (26/11). However, this can be a regular event just like Pakistan and Afghanistan a few years down the line.

India prides itself protecting Afzal.. and encourages such terrorists even more.
