What is the sense of taking Praveen kumar (useless) in the team. Virat Kohli, Manish Pandey are the gud options if sehwag is not to be opted. It's all politics and nothing else. And when seen that yusuf pathan has not a gud knock in IPL and also not done gud in warm up matches and before super eight why he was their in the team, Ravindra jadeja, virat kohli or manish pandey could be better option. RP singh is out and Injured jahir khan is in........! it's just the politics.
Dhoni is just responsible for fighting and throwing sehwag out of the team.

Before selecting the team selector should have discussed the performance of the player in IPL matches.Non of the Indian players performed in IPL matches except a few players like Raina.Only foreign players like Gayle ,Kailies ets performed well. foreign players learns more than indian in IPL .It is surprise how we are expecting this team to win world cup.This team was not capable of Super 8 if it would been placed in other group.
in fact we should take lesson from Pakistan, for the last many months everyone is watching so much violence in that country, no international cricket in the last few months, then also they are in finals. Australia who claim themselves the champions are out of the tournament. England who are inventors of this game are out of the tournament. India last time champions are out of the tournament. Each country had a chance in IPL to know about other players weaknesses & strengths, then also India lost all the matches in Super eight. I think Indian team was over confident of winning the title this time, which has been the main reason for their debacle. Well that means IPL was not played for the game sake , just for monetary gains.

Every body was aware that India was the fav. team to win the title, highest satta was on indian team, there were the batter chances to earn money for the whole team from sattebaaz. Since sehwag was not in favour of this so he was out of the team. Other ppl earned money and they lost.
Simply batting failure caused team India loose crucial matches, the team which has such an aggressive batting line up failed simply because of being defensive and looking to consolidate rather than being aggressive. Failure of Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni made an huge impact and in such cases, Indian's should have tried sending Yusuf top of the order ahead of Yuvraj, but overall, nothing went right for team India, simply bad lucks and it happens. India played very consistantly over the past 2yrs now in this particular format, just one poor series, so cant really blame this talented team and wishing best of lucks for the upcoming series.
This useless playeris not at all fit for 20-20 mactches as he can't hit boundary or six.. He can hit some singles. Dhoni should have realised after the warm up match against Newzealand
Virat Kohli should have been a better choice to this useless guy.. The hook shots which went for sixes against fast bowlers in IPL itself is a proff of Virat's ability.
Ishanth Sharma..
He claims to be india's lead bowler.. But he can bowl only one type of ball.. Short of good length ball. This guy is predictable.. He has not heard about yorkers.. He should go to malinga and learn how to bowl yorkers and slower ones..
Eventhough sreeshanth is highly temperamental and a show man he should have been a better choice. In field this guy moves like a snail. Ganguly should be very happy that there are people slower than him in the field.
Inspite of poor performance BCCI has still retained these guys..Proof of money can buy selection

Given the above facts, he is far far better. He is still suitable for ODIs and his experience does matter most. Probably due to unwarranted politics, his ODI career has gone for a six. Hope he is back at the expense of some of the mindless young cricketers.

absolutely , he is a class act,only he can play a anchor role & hold the innings together because of his technique, he & sachin r the only players who can handle all kind of attacks,whether spin & fast & even fast bouncers,& can adjust game accoring to the situation & can plat slow & fast accordlingly, there should be alleast three player in he side of this Quality if team wants to win consistenly with a mixture of good hitters down the order.
