Yes I m totally in support with you. We need jobs not entertainment. I dont know why bangalore & chennai in the race of appointment of cicketers with the cost of huge money. they dont have minimum ethicks and at trhe same time reducing their employrees salary.
Do anyone know the price and team for Morkel of South Africa and Warner of Australia. These two were the hot batsmen in 20-20 matches recently held in Australia

Those who are good got the money they deserved. Why are you so insecure? Throw away this insecurity and inferiority complex. If we are good enough, nobody can deny us anything that give to others. A black man is the most powerful man in the world now. So stop this insecurity. Its the ge of merit, not of color or race.

1. Mumbai Indians team appears to have gobbled up average players and hence this season also is bound to suffer the ignominy of not being able to reach the semi-finals.
2. Preity is really smart in picking up Ravi Bopara. His cricketing abilities are real good and his being a person of Indian origin may help KXIP score some popularity points.
3. Delhi team seems to be quite moderate in their approach. One should think Collingwood and Owais Shah at 275000 dollars apeice are good buys. They have stars in their own right like Sehwag, Gambhir, Shikar Dhawan, Pradeep Sangwan etc. besides the likes of Dilshan, McGrath. I wish Delhi team wins or atleast reaches the finals this year.

1. Flintoff's price may perhaps be justified from the angle of his past cricketing capabilities, though it is doubtful in the context of his near total failure to help England win the last ODI series against India. Leaving that aside, we hear that the price has two components - cricketing ability and popularity / brand equity which a player can generate amongst fans, public etc. Viewed from this perspective, CSK's boss Srinivasan seems to have gone overboard in bidding for him at an astronomical sum of USD 1.55 mio. There can be no better brand ambassador in India today than the irrepressible, one and only one Dhoni. Srinivasan may as well rue his folly after the IPL second season.
2. KP's price is justified both from his cricket skills and charisma. But again, like his CSK counterpart Srinivasan, Vijay Mallya seems to have not thought of all aspects. The million (or is it 1.55 million) dollar question is, will KP gel with Kallis, Boucher and Steyn? And, more importantly, will KP find it easy to lift Royal Challengers, Bangalore, notwithstanding its non-inspirational captain Dravid?
3. Shoaib Akthar, Ishant Sharma, Azharuddin's son and now Mashrafe Mortaza. The owner of KKR is SRK. No comments required, the whole world can draw its own inference.
4. Has any one heard of a guy called Tyron Henderson who went for USD 650,000? Are we seeing another Satyam Computers in the affairs of Rajasthan Royals?

Tyron Henderson was the leading wicket taker in 20-20 south africa....also a very good hitter and has been playing for middlesex....man of the match in the semi final match....

You have quoted from Times of India or some such source, the information having come to the knowledge of cricket lovers outside of the narrow circle of South African cricket followers.
My question was who outside of South Africa has heard of this guy.
Also, he is 34 years old and till now never found suitable for inclusion in South African national side!

Sorry, the first sentence of my above remark is incomplete. It should read like this:
"You have quoted from Times of India or some such source, the information having come to the knowledge of cricket lovers outside of the narrow circle of South African cricket followers, only after the present IPL Player Auction". Regret error.
