In last season CSK was runner up but was in loss because of more investment on players like Dhoni 6 crores. While RR got most profit.
KKR was in profit because their stadium can have big crowd.

I will say less investment on players will be safe beneficial.

KKR being in profit is not due to the stadium capacity. Revenue from stadium makes only a small fraction of total revenue. KKR was best marketed team and thus made profits from sponsors, endoursements etc.

Its difficult to calculate the returns on each player, but they teams earn thru sales of tickets, money from team sponsors, money from cricket board

as far as i can guess, each team will invest a good sum and buy the team and at every stage the team progresses, there wil be a huge sum paid for each the winning team (investor). This ought to be paid out of the money got from investors (by auctioning players), advertisers, audience, media rights etc.

the biggest strength of cricket is it is very coveniant to watch on T.V compared to other sports and also 20 20 format is as interesting as football so it can spread in the future to other countries.

It is your ignorance which says cricket is convenient to watch where ball can move @150km/hr and only Batsmen or bowler is focused.
Even football can be enjoyed more in TV leave apart indoor games.

Don't watch if you don't like

Are all these people who are complaining about IPL thinking that they are paying from their pocket?. There is a cap on number of foreigners in the team and there is a cap on the amount which owners can spend. India is also benefitting from this like TV rights to channel 10 in Australia is sold for $15 million for 5 years and just imagine the experience the young players in India are getting by interacting with some of the best players in the world. These type of naysayers will allways be there and noone is forcing them to watch IPL. IPL is also partly responsible for remarkable improvement in Indian teams performance.
