According to you player auction is a flesh trade. If so good looking players should fetch more. Players are not selling their bodies they are selling their skills. Even if you change job, employer will buy your skills.

Ya ur skills are always sold, thats why brain drain. I have not told its flesh trade. Why donot yo sale Hockey skills. Why not other sports. because intelligent people like you are still under biases. Still 65 million think about tomorrow about food. How many of us are paid such amount even if we excel at top in our field our levels.
I think Deccan Chargers have done right thing by going to low key players like Edwards and Dwayne smith and they will stay with the franchise entire season and this will enable the Chargers to weigh more pace bowling options but according to me Sakib Ali Hassan might have picked because of his fine display in recent times

but Mortaza recruit to that price seems to be not perfect and instead they might have gone up for a batsman like collingwood

Mind you this is a tactical decision also as KKR - will now have the whole of bangladesh eating out of their hands

Then that means all others who bought foreign players are either australians/south africans/new zealanders or english right....
Think with your head from the top...not from your middle...get a life!!!!

put your money where you mouth is....then we can understand you. Sitting in front of the telly, with a pack of chips, switching channels, cursing the economy, politicians etc....is typical middle class mentality.

ask Kabaddi and hockey to contribute like that....whey blame cricket or IPL. Thats is a successful business and you are all frustrated coots, who sit on your behinds, on the living room couch, chewing junk food and cursing society, politicians, economy etcetc...get off your behind and DO Something!! We can then talk!
Knight Riders seems to be fool!!! last time they struggled with batting performance. They should have gone for Owasis Shah and Collingwood..Why Mortaza for 3 Crore?? They have thrown out Ranadev Bose!!!All australian ate FOOL!!!!!Buchanan will spoil the entire thing...
While players owned by persons, the employers are in position to advise players to throw bat or poorly ball when the betting in favour of the team is made. Am I seeing the future correctly? Will the team owners be hand and gloves with Dawood like betting syndicates?

I dont think any employer will give advise to player to lose...if opposition trys that, then its regular match fixing...so that can happen to any form of the sport, not just IPL....so sharpen your theories!

When Raju of Satyam can do such a nasty thing, why do we expect any other person having opportunity to be honest?
