I don't understand the basics of the selection. On what basis the three players not given opportunity to play in West Indies has been dropped? If India wants to buildup a team for teh next world cup then contunity of the young cricketers is required. Dropping the younsters without giving a chance will demorilise the yougsters. Furher the team has to find replacement for Sachin & Dravid as they are nearing the end of their glorious career.
betting syndicates put pressure on selectors to have their man dravid in the team so that he can bat slow/ runout his partners and drop catches when needed...

No genuine reason as such...they somehow had to fit in harbhajan...why harbhajan???...maybe they trust him more than ojha...but again a debatable ommision...should have got the nod i think.
Good that finally cricket board thought of bringing some good players. But this MS Dhoni and Harbhajan should be removed. They are playing to earn money and not for the country. They have even dared to refuse to attend President Function for the sake of earning money on advertisement. Shame on such players.

Also, his batting record is still much better than any of the other players! Get a life, rkd!
Rahul may confirmed his place wen he was selected in probabales.But real think where will he bat,its not good to Raina to come down in the order cause he s so devastating in fielding restrictions,n selectors also done good job by withdrawing M Vijay n Badarinath,they came only in the team for carribeans cause thy r frm TN.Iam curious for knowing why ojha is dropped,any body found any reason.
Well what will Dhoni say? How he will build team of future? He must have learnt some lessons from 20-20 world cup. Every day is not a Sunday. Rahul on the other hand must realise that he has limited opportunities. Do every thing but do not slow down the run rate. India has won many matches because of Dravid but she has lost if not more, equal no of matches because of his slow battings. Sachin, Dravid, Ganguly and Laxman the great four have taken India to final of world cup but have never won it. Lot of injustice is being done to players like Badrinath, Virat Kohli etc. All that matters is how strong connection you have with selection board. Ex Cricketers might have been outstanding as players but are not necessarily good selectors and coaches. When will Gavaskar stop criticising all and sundary and get involved in serious coaching so as to benefit budding cricketers? I am sure he must have a ready answer for it like he has for everything else.
