Robin and irfan were given lot of chances. They r out of form.Dravid adds stability to the middle order which seemed vulnerable in the windies. Dinesh karthik was a surprise wen u had virat kohli in such gud form.
Why did the selectors disturb a successful combination ? India won one day series in Lanka ( Twice) and New Zealend recently , something that they had never achieved before. They also won the tri-series in Australia for the first time without Dravid. If Dravid plays at no.3 where will Raina who averages over 50 in that slot and who has played a pivotal role in recent successes play ? Why disturb a hugely successful one day team on the basis of a poor 20-20 tournament?

People just figured out Raina's short-ball problems. You still want to continue with him at no. 3?

In very cheap taste and without proper knowledge of either cricket or indian culture.
if dravid scores consistently in both these series with 2 or more centuries, then he wud become a serious contendor for further selections and the 2011 world cup.

my dear, so for Dravid is the only batsman able to read Mendis correctly. Mr.Dhobi knew this factor very well...minus Dravid srilanka tri series will be a disaster for our team. ...Goodluck Dravid
Indeed shocking news. It is about time that Dravid called it quits in the shorter version of the game. While we do acknowledge and appreciate the fact that he is a much accomplished player in the longer version of the game, he is a misfit if not a liability on the team in ODIs. The earlier he realizes this and steps down graciously from the shorter version, he will have to face the ignominy of being shown the door, pretty soon - perhaps not the way he would like to take a bow.
