what decision are you refering to? If it is Dhoni's selection as captain then I shud remind you that Sachin also recommended him for captaincy!

at least he puts team before personal milestones! we only care for team success and not personal milestones!! Dhoni is the best captain alongwith Kapil & Saurav!!

yes i agree bcoz after his arrival in team the Indian has got a strength.......
it good contribution of all the players which makes india up.in WC 2009, u cn c players could nt do well n india could nt win even a single big match.in that tournament, all the tactics of dhoni proved wrong and even his batting ws worst. so whnever players did well togather, india hv won. dhoni's contribution is to bring best out of other players and team management. regarding his own batting , i would say tht he is proving as gr8 ODI player bt he need to improve himself in t20 and in tests upto some extent.
Over last 2 years, India's ODI wins were not due to Dhoni but pur tried and tested mentor and best batsman Sachin Tendulkar....Ind won in Aus due to back to back scores of 117 and 91 in the finals by Sachin....India were in bad shape losing both T20s to NZ but in came Sachin and stabilized the top order and India won the ODI series in NZ 3-1 where Sachin scored 163 in one innings....its none other than Sachin who helps the team in lot of ways not just batting but also giving a stable presence and mentoring the youngsters....we all saw what happened in T20 WC in England when a few seniors like Sachin, Sehwag etc were out of the team...the team lost badly...that is the au*at of Dhoni...

U idiot we won there in 2002....in 2006 WI played well and won the ODI series but they are so weak that they could not sustain that series win in the tests which India won 1-0....other than that most of the ODI series vs WI have been won by India only....

simple question...Sachin is there for 20 yrs...how many world cups he has for records? or any history defying records??NONE he is a great batsman no doubt...but we only need a successful team & successful leader!!

says the tamil idiot...name one tamil player who has done anything for India...don't tell me Srikanth won 1983 world cup by himself...idiot frog in the well...
Re: Re: Oneday Wins of India

Sachin was top scorer in 2 world cups in 1996 and 2003...but the team failed him in crucial situations thats why Ind could not win those cups...u have some problem against top people be it Sachin or SRK...i know the likes of u...mediocrity zindabad.
Indian Junior volleyball team have entered the semi-finals of the world volley ball championship. There is no news about it. Where as, there is umpteen number of news bytes over Dhoni's Shining/whining etc. As long as this country and the hypocrite media is supporting cricket, which is played only by a handful of countries, this countrys's sports is doomed.
Re: Who is the best left hander in ODI in current ERA.
by deewaker pandey on Aug 07, 2009 12:40 PM
in term of capability, i wll gv yuvraj more marks. jayasurya good days hv gone. he is nt as consistent as yuvraj.sangakara, smith and strauss r also very good players bt they cnt be as effective as yuvraj. if we need to choose test left hander then I wll say strauss only.
Most of the learned critics forget that cricket is a team game and you need a witty & smart leader to take wise decisions to become successful...Dhoni is the only leader under which the players are enjoying the game and the results bear testimony to this fact! We need results in favour of India and not personal milestones!
