I think the post of President and Governor should be scrapped. These positions are just to spend the hard earned money of Indians. Abolish the post and reduce income tax.

this is a joke .. the co called padma awards are nothing but a chamcha giri award.The bigger the chamcha one is of the govt the bigger padma awards they get. when this govt cannot respect the gallantry awad of the soldier who have laid down their life fighting for the country why should one respect the so called chamcha award given by the govt. this congress govt is shameless and do not have any shame and they talk big always. All the so called ministers in this govt are justa bunch of jokers and leaders of the jokers are people like arjun singh ambumani romdass, lalu yadav and many more . So mr. Srinivas please learn to give respect then only you can expect that some one will respect you.
Since Cricketer are rich, (How much is Govt. paying cash with awards) whereas Cricketers are earning much more than (many folds), that too from Stamp pad president.

Mr. dumbo iyer, awards do not matter because of the CASH component. How much is the cash awarded to Oscar winners??? :D
We know very well behaviour and character of Bhajji and Dhoni. On what criteria Govt selected them ? Scoring runs and taking wickets does not make a good character.
What has Aishwarya & Akshay Kumar did for the country. Dhoni and his team work hard to win a game Sirjeee.. Today the position in which Indian Team is in only because of Dhoni. How many captains have they seen , who can achieve such feat? I can tell not a single one..!!! Do the president of India has that much stature to stand with these Greats. Making just rules does not suffice all the problem. How many politicians reach to the people in 5 years of there span for problem , how many parliamentarians skips the sessions, No rules for them ...!!! First make the rule which you follow than suggest to somebody else.
Vinod Dua, Rajdeep Sardesai and Barkha Dutt who have been awarded the Padma Shri by UPA for their excellent services for the ANTI MODI and ANTI BJP coverage.
Isn’t it interesting that just a few days back, NDTV awarded Manmohan Singh as ‘leader of the year’!!!
