Ganguly is still batting, while others are falling like nine-pins. Only Dravid showed the mettle to bat for a long time apart from him.

did anyone mention anything about sacking? it is not sacking which will help the team, it is performance. the members who have failed in the first innings can go out and play a strong innings in the second. that's the best part about test cricket. you get a second chance. please do not react. think through the statement and then provide your input.
Sharad Pawar Should should read this article and and he should quit from cricket ( BCCI ).All this happen because of this SharadPawar. He made big money when earth quick was hit Mharastra. That time he was CM.Now he made bigger money in Indian Cricket. He is no.1 Fraud.
Great article....a gr8 tribute to the legend...An unsung hero,he was instrumental in grooming most of the youngsters in the team at the cost of anything....Recently on NDTV i heard Rajput saying that once ganguly was so stubborn for selecting a particular player that the meeting went on till 2 am in the night....leave alone the thankless people, scoundrels like More shd be flogged in public.....More than anything if there is any attribute that makes me regards high is the responsibility he took on his shoulders at the time of adversity, when the so called gr8 sachin relinquished his captaincy on account of dropping averages and match fixing issues....Hail the king,Salute the Dada.....IF there are two people whom I respect the most in cricket, they are Saurav and John wright....

unsung?! where have u been dude? so now that dada is gone, are you gonna emigrate? if you have not already?! good riddance
It perplexes me no end why people like Bishan Bedi or Rajan Bala are so biased against Ganguly.Do they get money from vested groups to crticize him even for no reason?
I am no fan of Sanjay Manjrekar but he's been the most consistent commentator and his comments are always backed by logic.
This series will prove that Ganguly is still head and shoulders above Dravid and Laxman but South brigade never asks them to prove their status. They will get a solid answer from Dada this series and I predict both of them will fade into oblivion now.
People will forever remember Dada as the best Captain India has ever had. What's Dravid and Laxman's track record?? Does anyone have an answer? Both of them were tatally outcaste is shorter version of game whereas Ganaguly ruled with his towering sixes, remember?

the sad part is there is another you somewhere cribbing about people like you who are against people he likes. When will you idiots start thinking instead of just commenting and opening up yourself to ruthless commenter's like me :) aemember dada about anything else than his rants and his famous salman khan type dikhawa at lords, sad, but true

Don't bring regional feelings and bias in your commentr please. thanks. I am also a die hard fan of DADA.
Cause he is a person of that caliber. A good person always(mostly) have good friends to think abt. It shows wat kinda person ganguly is. No doubt he is great cricketer, captain but y so many against him. People are just talking abt his cricketing career but these people the true ganguly. Who knows what kinda person he is. So wateva happens, happens for good.

Dude, none of these ppl hv any remote connection with ganguly except dravid and dhoni. dravid was his trusted lieutenant and friend. dravid showed lack of character in real life by siding with greg chappell and not by his friend. dhoni is indeed part of the indian team by virtue of ganguly's vision. of course, dhoni has improved as a cricketer over time, but dada gave him the opportunity to be nurtured. had dada been not there, dhoni would have been dropped from the team by the selectors after 2 or 3 failures, just like they did with parthiv, dinesh, deep, etc. your msg shows the kind of person you are: a clueless one.

This is the article written by gangu more or less; he has blamed every cricketer and journalist in earth; would not have played this far if he played for any other country including zimbabwe. Good to get rid of these guys and it is good sihns for indian cricket; no more selfish guys.

nagarajan, dravid would never have played ODI's ever if it had not been for ganguly. you and your ilk of hate-mongers are just the problem in today's India. you ppl do not have any respect fr achievers. all you can do is sit and criticise ppl. shame on you! if you have no positive to contribute to the society as a whole, at least don't destroy it.

another blind bengali!!
Say that again Dravid wudnt have played ODI cricket but for dada..do you even know that beofre dada became the captain, Dravid had already played 118 ODIs, scored 4000 runs at an average of 39 with 7 100s!!Perhaps you forgt tht before dada became captain , there was the 1999 world cup and guess who was the highest scorer there?Oh yeah it was not dada but Dravid, you moron.
Stop spreading lies.dada shud be thankful to Dravid tht he shouldered the responsibility of being a keeper unlike this selfish sore cancerous loser dada who batted for only his average after the 2003 world cup.Till 2003 world cup , he was a great ODI batsmen and an average test batsman not after that.
Re: pathetic biased article

calling me a moron helps you in taking out your frustration? please do so. but, if your facts are to be believed, then dravid should have played more ODI's than ganguly by now and also scored more runs. wait a minute, that's not true is it? he has played the maximum ODI's under ganguly's leadership and has been accomodated in the team inspite of stiff opposition from the selectors, thanks to ganguly. i can call you names and such, but i choose not to. do you know why? because your surname suggests that i don't. it's enough of a abuse to be i identified as a bihari everyday of your life!

It is not the article which is biased but your senses are out of tune with your brazen hatred against Ganguli through your hatefull messages from time to time.
Dada had his faults but he had charisma as the cpatain which none of these guys had - Sachin and Rahul. Dhoni might become good but he has dug his own grave by lamenting on young versus seniors because one day this guy will a SENIOR and with his non-technique game skills might not last for a long time! Nevertheless, very pleasant to read the last statement of BOOKIE! Bravo Rajneesh!
