i wish the bangalore cricket board could have done better... The wall is not perfect. There are cracks!
Cricket is the curse of India. It virtually killed every other sport in this country. Country erupts into false prise whenever India wins some match. Lets understand that we are making so much hype and hoopla about a game played by a handful of nations. I wonder what it would be if Americas, The Europeans, Russians, and the Chinese venture into this game. India would be out of the scene in no time...like what happened in Hockey. Now we dont even qualify for the Olympics.
But Thankfully the rest of the world wouldnt venture into this game seriously...so India can sit relaxed.
Football is the game....90 minutes....but that 90 minutes is sheer play...not like cricket where half the players sits in the gallery at any given time...and even those on the field would be standing idle most of the time. AND YOU CALL THAT A GAME???? get real dude.
BUT CRICKET SUITS INDIANS IN GENERAL, BECAUSE IT DONT NEED MUCH PHYSICAL FITNESS :D

Hmm .. seeems sm1 is very hurt on losing mate .. Wht suits india is the best display . World is beyond olympics as well . If u think tht cricket is smthng without physical fitness ..stand fr 2-3 hours under sun and then u ll better knw this .. Rest of the world has tried venturing into it and well lost ..so no matter whom u bring on !! If u think thts the case jsut ve a venture into it ..ery team has its up and down ..wht happens in hockey is diffrnt fro cricket and the one who hits lowest bounces the highest .. So rather then just blaming ,..Try it out ..

Hey Buddy, if u think Cricketers don't need to be fit, then just try running a few meters with the complete cricket gear worn by batsmen under the afternoon sun. Maybe that will knock some sense into u.

daytime saint, well said, u r a legend btw, cricket has never played by any country that has ever been a sporting giant apart from australia, remember china, russia, germany, italy, usa and france are the only other sporting giants and look at our(india)record in cricket, we have only won 22 percent test matches in r history to australia's 46 percent despite of the fact that r population is sixty times bigger than oz and cricket is 10 or 20 times bigger in r country than oz, in india, cricket is a to z, in oz, cricket has competition with many sports and comes at no 2 with nrl rugby league with afl aussi rules footy being no 1 and super 14 rugby union probably no 3 we also have the richest cricket board yet there is no quality
It is truely a meaning full recognition of Mr.Dravid's achievements to erect a WALL. Cricket is my religion and I never saw a player like Dravid in last ten years.In each and every India win , Dravid is there.In ground and in public he is truely a roll model. I am searching for another icon who will continue Dravid's charishma , so that I can enjoy cricket. Thanks KSCA.

there is no doubt that there is only one word to describe indian cricket and thats hype historically or in the last years our indian team has not even won half the percentage of matches that aussies have these indian players are not fab four, its the 4 best aussie cricketers in waugh's captaincy-the waugh twins and mcgrath and warne just look at the list of our overrated players in recent times-tendulkar,dravid,ganguly,zaheer,pathan,srinath,dhoni,kaif,yuvraj,sehwag,agarkar,kumble,harbhajan,etc-now we should look at the fact that these guys togther could not win consistently, loosing almost every second match in a small commonwealth sport now see, an underrated darren lehmann who we must know played only 27 tests and 117 odis despite of scoring 25000 in first-class matches/domestic tests and 13000 in list a matches as he was picked when passed his prime we should know that he was a 12th man for a test at age 19 but made his odi debut at 26 and test debut at 28 he averaged 45 in tests and scored much much quicker than tendulkar in strike rate when he was dropped from aussie team around christmas a few yrs ago, he had won two world cups and had a win-loss record of of 22-2 in tests now here is a cricketer who played so few matches but has so many big trophies unlike any indian cricketr of past or present coz darren was a fine player in a fine team
- he is most selfish player. - watching his game make me angry and feel like go and hit him instead i hit tv screen. he is such as boring player. - He is gutless leader and have no leadship at all - he put more pressure on incoming batsman by playing slow. may be he was good player at 70s - I don't know how he deserve ad/money at this point of time. he is not fit for any one/test/20-20/IPL any offical match. he should join retired club soon and play for charity match. - He has such a week body and dropped many important catches last one years. he has lost completely focus.

i watch cricket and fan. that is enough for me to critise anyone i like what. i don't need to play or contribute anything to cricket to justify. I have right to say what i want. If he is not selfish, he should tried after this series. He try too much but can't deliever. it is time to say goodbye to international cricket before selection he was kicked out from oneday match forver. i am sure, he won't get chance to play for oneday anymore. why not he say he tried offically?? btw, i am from karanataka and from bengaluru and living in aus for over 5 years.

If Dravid was a Selfish player then he should have been the Highest Run scorer in both Tests & ODIs, the batsman to score the most number of Centuries in Test & ODIs. I have lost count of how many times he let go of a 50 or a 100 just so the team could win. Shame on u to call him Selfish.

I agree with you to some extent, he is not fit for oneday cricket, he puts pressure on other batsman with his less strike rate. But he is not selfish, he is committed player, but many times in oneday cricket he cant deliver the goods. He is apt for test cricket.
