sehwag is a selfless player. he doesnt think of century even when on his 90s. if any1 can provide how many times, he is out in 90s, v can know the number of centuries he missed in his personal records for cause of the team.

even 50s are more valued if they for teams winning cause rather than useless 100s. yesterday we say KP century wasted.

Hi Dear, I agree with you."Players like Sachin wont come often". I think now he is the god father of the cricket. And also he is playing good, so i think he should continue till he is in-form.

You can't differentiate Sachin with other indian players in subcontinent but in abroad you will see the difference clearly.

he has to retire and for that he will be discarded to tests only, like others in the past. it was definetly painfull watching him suffer scoring off edges.
Indian pacers were bowling like test match. There were less yorkers for Owais shah or petersen. Owais was easily shuffling across to the off side with his entire stumps exposed as if knowing in advance where the ball will be going. This is where bowlers needed to tilt a little and hit the middle-leg stumps. Pace is good, but lot of fresh review of pace needs to happen to make them better.

Shuffling across when bowler was on the run to crease definitely means he is little cared about the pace of that bowler.

Recently Aus and SA are our real competitors. After some months it will be clear which team is best. This year India is looking best in ODI while SA in test.

You Dhoni supporter. Fantastic batting reads your heading, but surprised to see that you are mentioning about Dhoni & Raina. 136 runs from 19 overs for the first wicket means 135 from 31 overs to win. Opening assault from Sehwag is the key for the win, none other than Sehwags batting should be highlighted.

Did you see the next 10 overs after losing 3 wickets? England were trying so hard.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Fantastic batting..........

Anurag it is natural for any team down 4 to try hard to win. To overcome that and too play cool at the end was definitely made by the opening burst of Sehwag. Run rate never bothered them and had the liberty to play as they like and no need to worry about run rate at all at any time. And Shammi dont follow the commentary so eagerly as if it is true to every sense. Ball gets soft, how? can you explain?

abhijit in indian condition because of dew in evening ball gets soft very quickly.........

As you say 'it is natural for any team down 4 to try hard to win'. Thats why I said Raina and Dhoni innings were equally important as Sehwag and Sachin. Openers did their job and middle order did their job. Thats it.

After losing 3 wickets in quick interval if India lost 1 more wickets there then India would be in trouble. England bowled excellent spell there but Dhoni and Raina hold the nerves.

After setting a target of 271 with out a good opening partnership that too in quick Dhoni & Raina never could have hold the nerves. Correct your statement to "if India lost 1 wicket at the start there then India would have been in a big trouble and lost the match"
Re: Re: Re: Re: Fantastic batting..........

India had lost the advantage of opening partnership by losing 3 wickets in quick interval.
