Thanks for performing so well for India for 19 long years. I will cherish that along with other seniors, you made the dream come true to make us numero uno in the cricketing world. Whatever you chose to do, wish you all the best in your new endeavour. As an ardent cricket fan, I am going to miss your bowling and fighting spirit. You have been a great ambassador for the game and India. Salue you for your contribution!

He stands apart-
The cup of fulfillment
His lips touch the brim.
An era ends-
And he prevails on the sky-
In the horizon.
The gentleman lifts the game, opens the bounds
Gives it dimensions unknown.
Hardly speaks unless spoken to but his eyes tell
Untold emotions.
I travel long distance to see you again master craftsman.

We knew that Kumble is an engineer. Still thanks.

Hey Anil all da best 4 all ur future endeavors. you have been my favourite cricketer since ages. I just cant 4get da test match against pakistan when u grabbed all 10 wickets, or for that matter the match in bangalore when u were at ur lethal best and almost won the match for India( the match got abandoned because of poor lights). and as far as ur batting goes ur century against England can never be 4gotten and u have always put a price on ur wicket. people say that Shane Warne is the greatest spinner of our time but the 4get the fact that he enjoyed support of Mcgrath, gillespie and lee. U won matches almost single handedly for India. u r definitely in the same league if not better
