The stark contrast between ICL and IPL brought back to my mind the punch line of the coaching institute where I prepared for IIT-JEE; Winners do not do different things, they do things differently.

Cynics may say that Modi and co. copied from ICL, but no one can take credit away from BCCI.

Copy of ICL

Modi doesnt deserve any credit. Infact ICL was the one started first. Just because this IPL is authorized by BCCI and ICC it became popular. So really Kapil & Co deserves all the credit.

Why cant BCCI or ICC allow all parties to promote their game of Cricket. BCCI gagged Zee's ICL (IPL is copy cat of ICL) to the extent that Zee didnt get ny media support at all. No news channel or newspaper was allowed to report ICL. And now see, same media is scrambling to give full page reprting of IPL.

I donot know why he get too much importance in cricket, neither he is former crieckter. Why not cricket board to be controled by former players.Who are given pride to this country. After some years we will see some racket happened in BBCI and then we will do inquery. Sad very sad for nation. If there is smoke that mean there is fire.People donot talk against anyone like this. He loves to be seen with stars and big people. If he is not earning anything,so why he is spending all his time in cricket grounds.

Lalit Modi if i am not wrong is the director of bag films the owners of e24/9x/9xm/etc. see the growth in the number of channels of the group after he has started looking after IPL. Is this a coincidence of time or the funds made out of IPL is being deployed noe in the expansion of channels.

what a glib liar--talks as if its his idea--not making money--only smoking away in public places-all this money seems to have gone to his haed--does he really expect us to belive that he is doing all this for the love of cricket?
