BCCI ka Chairman kaun? Pawar. Agar Dalmiya Hota tha to Final hota Kolkata mein. Agar Modi Chairman hota to Finals hota Jaipur mein. Agar Jaitley (Delhi Cricket Association President) toh Delhi... Bindra toh Mohali. samjha kya.....
ONe wonders why no one mentions ICL. IPL came about only because ICL started the idea. ICL tournaments were also reasonably successful in fact the organisation, commentary and entertainment was better. Lalit Modi and BCCI should be more mature and ack ICL's contribution.

absolutely i agree wid u especially the commentary part. except for tony cozier there is no one good in IPL get ian healy mark taylor etc on board
this guy here is a classic example of egoistic crybaby. first of all IPL is not his concept and he didnt bother about domestic cricketers all these years until Zee-subhash came up with ICL. His ruthless actions are causing trouble with all players in other cricket boards. He better realize that just coz BCCI got money.. he cant keep doing what ever he wants... and BTW, IPL is not a real success.. its a media hyped success. they are far from reality.
What a crap Lalit Modi, He is talking as if its his innovation in the country. We all know that whole idea has been copied from ICL, which has been innovated by somebody else in country. The BCCI has used its monopolistic power to be successfull, Still leave it for the free market and IPL will be out in a week. A poorly managed Drama, Consumer has no otion for IPL.
Thanks to T20 ( money matters), test cricket may not last longer than 3-4 days. You will not have grt batsmen like dravid, sachin, lara and pontings who play with grt technique. you will have dhonis, utappas, etc who can entertain crowd for short time and perish. CAN WE HAVE DEBATE: T20 TO BE BANNED

Those who playing cricket. Not interested T20. Actually T20 its bad to cricket. Only hitting, hitting.... Test and one day is OK. Its fast but not interested looking shots. All Blind shots. There is no technique

Ban T20 ? Yes, I am with you but provided we are able to cultivate the ODIs and Test Matches to such a height that T20 looks poorer. Players should not only consider money as the real factor cos if it was so then this game would not have seen the Sobers,Bradmans,Imrans or Gavaskars. We people first have to disown the format and only then would the players be tough enough to give an indifferent look to this mode of play.Debate will go on and on and...
Lets be honest and give the devil its due.Subhash Goel of ZEE is the pioneer of rhis format with ICL which is 2 years old.Lalit Modi has taken advantage of his official position in the BCCI, got the ICC to ban ICL and all those connected with it to establish a monopoly in this format. This is downright unethical and mean.Let him compete openly with others like the ICL if Cricket is his primary concern as a sport and not a business venture. He is obviously afraid of competition and is taking credit for something not due to him.
