I feel very bad ;though we all spend time watching the matches and whiling away the time; modi comes with google and says he is not making money ;is he then throwing his money and more so making public to believe it; if you real observe and logically deduce it all seems to be stage managed with cheer leaders as if we Indian are witnessing the game for the first time.

Lalit Modi seems to be saying that IPL was his innovative idea though we all know that IPL is a copy of ICL which was destroyed by these people for the sake of IPL. How shamelessly people can copy someone else idea and use their high profile status and power to claim that it's their innovative idea. I have heard something similar even about Kiran Bedi that she has copied a techie's idea.
Had IPL not been making money or if we were to believe Mr. Modi, BCCI is a charity or no profit no loss organisation, then how does all the meetings of the board officials, selection committee, etc. happen in the most luxurious hotels of the city???
modi, you sound as if you are the first one to introduce twenty20 in india. you should be thanking icl for that. if not for icl ipl wouldnt have been so successful.
it reminds me of the story where an american company invents a micro needle which is not visible to the naked eye. it then passes to a japanese company where they make a hole to the needle. and when it comes to the indian company, the indian company gave the label as "MADE IN INDIA"
