He is banned for 5 ODI and warned that if any thing like this again you take a life ban. It is like a deep pit dug for Bhajji which he is staring at. He is told that you misbehave again then there you go into. It is highly unlikly that he will play like a saint here after. Even this pit will be tempting for Harbajan, may be take a walk into it some day when no one is watching. For sure he is likly to fall in when he begin to play again. Poor guy. Now even if plays with ammended attitide other opponent players will take a go at him and provoke him as they know that he is just at the border line, little shake up there he goes tumbling.
Stupid Bhajji is deserved for a Life Ban. What this sradar done. In the cricket field he slapped a team mate with whom he played more than 20 tests. BCCI the stupid board gave him a chance agian it is shameful. This brainless sardar will never try to slap any mumbai chukkers or other north indian players. He was depressed and shown his disregard to cricket by slapping Sreesanth. Sreesanth also a good cricketer in Indian team now.. who is the leading wicket taker in IPL too as an Indian. But all the north stinks and anti Keralite monkey are against him. Sreesanth was showing some aggressivenss on filed, what else he done. He has to work on that and he will become the best bowler of Indian team.

U r right, but nothing can be done now. BCCI should now publish a document giving the punishment to be given on the offence committed. It would look something like this: Offence: Slapping a fellow player. Punishment: (i) If caught on camera, ban for 5 ODIs. (ii) If not caught on camera, issue a warning. etc
I think a further 5 match ban on Bhajji is a bit over the top. He has already been banned from around 15 games of IPL. One feels it's too harsh. gIVE THE GUY SOME SPACE. Obviously he did a wrong thing & was penalised .He admits his mistake. What more. What's BCCI trying to prove. look at the aussies, their board, ACB, didn't take any action on Hayden, who called BHajji a "obnoxious weed". Hayden went even further stating that he didn't say anything wrong & ACB shd stand with HAYDEN. Also Sresanth didn't get any ban, how can that be. All Mumbai players said that he pricked them & sledged them, but Engineer, Modi & Now Nanavati & BCCI THINK HE IS INNOCENT. dID THEY NOT REVIEW the footage of the whole game between Mumbai & Punjab.

i specially appreciate those readers' views who felt that the punishment was too small and the people in public life were liable for a closer, stricter scrutiny of their conduct.
these readers also felt that the bcci must render a better account of themselves just like other NGOs elsewhere in the world.
He is the shameful part of India, always bringing hatred between the countries. Why there is no controversy with Tendulkar, Dravid, Kumble against other countries.
