dont cry over retired players
by kumar kumar on Mar 08, 2008 11:00 AM  | Hide replies

India could come and say if we had Kapil dev or Bishen Singh we could have been a better team. Aussies need better players to beat India. The likes of ponting and others are useless. They have to get a young team kicking up.

Well Mr Kumar!

Do you have any guarantee that Indians too would not give excuses to hide their defeats in cricket?? Why complain and about Healy crying over retired players when we ourselves are no better?

Healy an Aussie himself
by Rajaraman on Mar 08, 2008 10:52 AM  | Hide replies

ONe Umpiring mistake. God help Aussies and Healy.
Symonds scored 162 after three repreives.Hussey scored 145 after on. Pontings fifty five was out of two innings.
in contrast, Inidans were handed out maching orders when clearly not out
This is a double bonus for Aussies.
Healy after is an aussie himself, He has to write in support of them only. His survival and future earning will have depend on them So no wonder this article is partisan and biased

Exactly, the aussies are pathetic by nature, and they show their frustration on and off the field to their opponents if they start losing.... No Asian team should tour Australia, as they have created problems for all of them , including Muralitharan..... their behavior shows their bad culture as well !

hello Mr Himalay!

If lying is Aussie trademark, what is your trademark?? Two wrongs don't make a right, got it? The Indians have spewed enough venom on the aussies (in the rediff blog forums)that we have no more justification for abusing and accusing them further! What you have written about Healy is also a load of shit! And don't always adopt the "holier-than-thou" attitude towards others! This is typical Indian reaction - overreacting and overdoing things in the act of retaliating! Indians are celebrating this victory over aussies like never before because such victories have never been tasted by them! It only shows how rare a victory over the aussies is for Indians, nothing else! I'm sure the aussies will come back harder and reclaim their postion as the world champions!

Note the Difference. Bloggers writing v/s Aussie superstars themselves barking..
To counter your example of what Indian bloggers are writing here, go visit news.com.au or equivalent to see what your dear friends from across the ocean are writing about your own origins.

Height of bias journalism & reporting
by Balankeswar Patnaikk on Mar 08, 2008 10:43 AM  | Hide replies

1. Why was not third umpire consulted during the dubious catch appeal.
2. Why to relate that Rahul Dravid's case was only one, is he saying that Aussis deserve "MORE".
3. Not allowing Indians enough match practice before 1st Test shows the level to which Aussies are bent on winning ( but at what price)
4.Healy has written this article because he is one of those old expert at sledging...now cannot digest the neutralising antidote developed by us.
5 Suggestion for All the boards of WORLD not just BCCI is that we should volunteer to attach micro microphone on players which shall dissuade cricketers from sledging & as a countermeasure allegate others of racial slur.
6. Let us challange Aussis to agree to have microphones on body/ sleeves and come to play.
7. Most important of all, the grounds where there have been boopng of Harbhajan should be banned for atleast 3 years...

Point no. 7 - if those grounds are banned then there will no cricket ground left in Australia.

Not justifiable
by rakesh on Mar 08, 2008 10:37 AM  | Hide replies

Healy has only tried to justify his men's behaviour on and off the field. This shows his negative attitude towards India and others.

Hullo, you forgot a few names in the list of Team Arrogants: Sunil Gavaskar, Ravi Shastri, Sarfraz Nawaz, Clive Lloyd, Viv Richards, Jeff Thomson, Ian Botham, Gooch, Gatting, Martin Crowe, etc. Names you forgot in Team Sportsmen: Richard Hadlee, Waqar Younis, David Gower, Kris Srikkanth, Javagal Srinath, Kapil Dev, etc. These are some very prominent names. Anyway you cannot compile a complete list. Good attempt. All names in your list deserve their places!
