Learn how to hold the bat first
by Shivaram on Mar 03, 2008 03:02 AM  | Hide replies

Looks like 99.99% of the people who write comments in the discussion board have never played cricket in their life time... Since they have unlimited access to internet they write some crap.. Grow up guys...Love the game first.. and start playing in your road and get your first run and then comment... till then dont ever open your mouth..

Dear Friend Accusations are to be taken with the right spirit as sachin took it so please learn to accept critisizm humbly and concentrate on performance rather than thinking on proving the others that they are shit as SANJAY himself was a great player of that era, he just awoked tendulkar to play a great knock, Lets congratulate both & each other on the win

I would have loved to see Manjrekar face Brett and Shoab at their best !!!! He was technically quite sound, but I wonder if he would have achieven half of what Sachin has !!! He never had to shoulder the burden of his team as there were other greats to guide the team thru' delicate situations. Sachin too had a couple of great colleagues, but often enough, when he got out, everything collapsed around. Barring Dravid and to a certain extent VVS, Sachin had no one who could command respect of the opponents.

Vintage Sachin
by Ajit Gole on Mar 03, 2008 01:23 AM  | Hide replies

Today after watching Sachin's innings, for a while I felt as if who is this cool calm and energetic kid? Yes it seems our old Sachya is back... The small kid in him has woken up. I can feel the storm, he is coming with a thunder... Aussies beware the king has started stretching his arms...if you try to tickle him, you wud definitely have the knockout punch right in the middle of your nose.
Congrats Team India... it was a collective effort. Gautam Gambhir...next match we expect a century from you.

As a placard said
Commit your sins when Sachin is playing
For the God may be watching him batting

Sachin will get more than 20000 runs, 50 centuries,100 fifties ,200 wickets and 200 catches in ODIs when he retires

Gambhir sacrificed his wicket for Tendulkar
by Chandra Paul on Mar 03, 2008 01:00 AM  | Hide replies

Tendulkar made century at the cost of Gautam Gambhir. Gambhir is looking at the fielder and not prepared for the second run. Tendulkar has called for a second run. Its a basic cricket-sense that before you call other person for a run you have to check whether he is prepared or not else you have to pay for that.
