Was at the SCG... Sachin is simply majestic and our team is great... good luck for the second final... lets make Ponting's word true when he said 'there won't be a need for the third final'

i'm shcoked...where has gone the people who ever try to criticise sachin for not scoring in finals or while chasing a target? Hammm..this time too they can said that the target was not a good one..had the target over 300 tendulker would have been failed this time too...no?
you know tendulker's 14 centuries out of 16 have won the match for inida while chasing a target? he played what a great inng yesterday... now i'm hoping that his critics will shut their mouth for a long period..
salute you to master blaster..you are really a proud for every inidan..

I say shut up and check statistics -sachin is very good player but chokes at finals or when team needs him.Hey people do not hate him when they say that!Just one century or 50 centurries do not matter what matters is country not indivudual!Great players perform when actually they need to.

Mr.Abbas, Who is the great player who has performed consistently in the finals? The key word here is consistency. You may give examples of Gilchrist in WC finals, Ponting in 2003 finals, but how many times did they repeat that? Players from other teams are not expected to score a century every time they bat. Ponting failed throughout this summer (except for 1 or 2 innings) and yet we dont see the Aussie fans criticizing him. Show any player who performed consistently for 18 years while living upto the crazy expectations. Either you hate Sachin out of jealousy or lack adequate knowledge of the game (because cricket is a team game and no matter how great a player is, he cannot win the game alone). If Aus did not have so many great players, then many of Ponting's centuries would have been in the loosing cause as were Allan Border's. So stop this bullshit of targettting Sachin and finding fault with everything he does, instead of enjoying one of the greatest players of the game. We wont get to see another Sachin in a generation.

So, if he fails in the 2nd match, are you going to forget that he was instrumental in India's last 2 victories in "must win" situations and still dub him as a choker. Do you expect Sachin to bat through the innings and win each and every match crucial for India?

yes, he think so..but can he tell me what the hell he did so far in his life with that much consistancy? who the hell on earth can perform like this he wants? his (sachin's) rate of making 50 score is every 3rd inng. can you suggest me any other player who have avg. like this even after playing abowe 400 inngs?
if you can't do anything good for country..then learn to respect who are doing so..mr ABBAS ALI

It was a gr8 match yesterday. I got really thrilled after watching Sachins ton and Rohits batting. The bowling was really good. One thing that caught my mind was the difference in the quality of fielding, not sure if im correct. But i felt that our fielding was poor infact very poor. Yuvraj should recognize that he is no more a junior player. Piyush bowled nicely with Bhajji. We won because of good batting from our side supported by some poor batting by Aussies.

I just wish that Dhoni wins the toss and we get to bat first and put up a score in the range of 275 plus, we would not require the 3rd Final.

REplace Uttappa with Raina. Uttappa has been given enough chance. Give 1 chance to Raina in the 2nd final.

Agree abut Yvi opening since that is the bets posistion t shield him from the spinners.

However I also want Sewhag to be inclued in the match, it should be Sehwag and Sachin and Yuvi 1 down.

Well ... he is out of form for sure... but he is a class act .... and you dont drop players with that potential if they are having a lean patch . The good thing with class players is that they just need one good knock to turn things around. And he is best in the middle order. I dont really think he can open with Sachin.

somehow i believe Sehwag should open with sachin .... See the other tried openers are not delivering anyways... the good thing with Sehwag is that atleast there is a chance that he might go beserk and if that happens that puts enormous pressure on the opposition

While Pathan is a very good line and length bowler and swings the bowl pretty well, I think he should stop bowling a lollipop pace. He should try to increase his speed.

I'm disappointed with Irfan too, considering that I'm one of his fans. It was a bad day for him, actually a bad day for left arm medium pace bowlers since Mitchell Johnson also went for a lot of runs. Hope it's a one off thing and he's back to bowling well.

Congrats team India. This has been a very well controlled win. Didn't panic after losing 3 early wickets. Dhoni's captaincy was pretty good.
But after this win they shouldn't get complacent. Got to win one more game.

Guys, I'd say that we cut him some slack. Winning against Australia in Australia is no mean achievement. Dhoni batted till the end in the must-win match against Sri Lanka. He scored the winning runs here, took the gamble of going in with five bowlers. Every Indian captain has been criticized because each fan has a different view. It's not possible to please everyone. Let's savor the win and hope that India wins this series and many more to come. Enjoy the experience of watching Sachin Tendulkar's batting while it lasts.

That is OK True Blue.Dont go ga ga over Dhoni.I feel he is being given undue importance Very ordinary player becomes captain without merit on sheer age factor and is being made larger than life.
