The elephant is complacent and comfy because he has over 30000 runs in both forms of the game consistently over a successfull career spanning two decades and is still as productive as ever. Just what have u accomplished, Gopal? You couldn't even come up with something original? You had to steal a line from that disgruntled loser, Sanjay Manjrekar? Goes to show what a loser you are too.

I am glad Dhoni has achieved the impossible - get the elephant to score his first ODI century in Oz against Oz and his century in a final in a final for nearly 10 years. That a double whammy and I am proud Dhoni pulled it off. You should give credit where its due, right?

Enough of mumbaikar and others. We're all Indians here. Sachin is great, but India comes above any player. It's the combined effort of HArbhajan,Chawla's tidy bowling,Sachin and Rohit's batting that enabled this victory. Let's hope to clinch this in Brisbane. Jai Hind.

1. Sachin is thoroughly Scanned by all the cricket playing countries and they have lot of strategies to bowl against him.
2. By the age of mid thirties.. both muscular strentgh and reflexes are on downward trend..
3. Time phase - What can you comment about Serial Century missing Streak in 2007.. In 2008 if he is reaching 90 he is scoring century.
Still the Records of Sachin speaks volume of his dedication.
Still he can hit the best bowlers out of the Park with Authority...
Sachin may fail for few innings but still among the Top batsman..

Yesterday it was vintage Sachin was it notMr Rahul? He rules the whichever cricket ground he walks into Which ever part of the world Proud tough Aussie fans were clapping and what ovation when he was returning That is the respect he gets.Indian team needs Sachin more than Sachin needs Indian team Joke is Dhoni gets credit for Sachins class act.

Agree with you on that. Those cover drives were vintage Sachin. Reminded us of those days when he used to thrash Shane Warne all over the place. The next challenge for Sachin is to emulate what Aravinda De Silva did in 1996, and win the World Cup for India.De Silva was of age 37 in 1996, which is what Sachin will be in 2011.
Well.....lots of people are saying against sachin....
lekin jab uska bat bolta hai to puri duniyadekhti hai...even agar sachin series mai flop ho gaya to kya....The two continuous FOURS...Which he hit against BRET LEE are enoough for the series....koi mai ka lal vo shot mar ke bata de.....AND on the top of all... He came to play a match in WORLD CUP..jus after 2 days after his father died .....that is the greatest mark of his sports man spirit and dedication to the team....for more than 2 decades he has handled indian cricket team at a global level against all odds....he is the greatest batsman and dedicated player...the whole world had ever seen.....Iske baad bhi koi objection ho to apne baap ki arthi uthane ke bad office ja kar kam karna to pata chalega ki..what is so called "ETHICS".......
Hats off to the genius...

I agree and well said! But let's not make this ugly by saying bad things abt Dhoni, shall we? Why drag someone else's name in the mud? Dhoni is a class act too in ODIs and maybe soon in Tests also. Plus, he has great respect for SRT as do other youngsters in the team. He averages 45 in ODIs which is no small feat. It only lessens your credibility when you say things like that...(referring to your previous post).

What is the point in comparing apples and oranges? Sachin is a great performer, but Dhoni is a great leader who gets the best out of his performers!
