Please get lost with your World Cup. We have never a force to reckon with in Cricket, and many a times we choked from winning positions. Your game of cricket is killing other exciting games like.. football, hockey, volleyball, etc. Please go watch the EURO 2008, and feel the excitement. We have had 10 years celebration, 15 yrs and now 25 years, what else. there will be another 50 years...

Mr.Pimenta, Yes thats the whole point. when you are born only once with no contribution from you then why do you celebrate your birthday every year. We celebrate 25 years of WC before it is the first time Indian won a major ODI tournament and also to remind ourselves that we can repeat that in future.

Its great and marvelous to see interviews for the last 2 - 3 by media thru papers and tv channels for our World Cup.
Media was brilliant this time by showing that they not behind the 20-20 GULLY cricket but even 1983 world cup......i was jsut 3 years when that happened ...but from 2 days whenever i run channles and see people talking on it i really felt happy. Kapil should be saluted for his heroism. Bravo Kapil....more than winning the cup it was a team spirit ...when we have team spirit we can win cups like this.
Welost team spirit after that Sachin joined the team he split the team as his wish ...hope God takes him away soon......from this world before he ruins the whole BCCI.

No need to talk abt Sachin. World knows what he is. sachin bashers can't do anything except giving nonsense comments here.
After this Victory and SQN LDR Rakesh Sharma's going to space around the same time- India was on the move-from then on India has and with god's grace will continue to be in world's Lime Light- we are soooo! proud of Kapil's Dare devils- may god bless you!!... may our India be at the forefront of every good thing in this universe and all Indian citizens be happy, contended and proud.....
The way this is going - I guess we also celebrate 50th anniversary of 83 triumph without another world cup. I guess we are making too much out of this. This is the only sport we are ok at and are crazy about. It is ridiculous that in such a sport we have not won the coveted cup again in 25 years. I guess BCCI and the players should be hauled up for this. Imagine if Aussies were to do this felicitation business, their board will bankrupt arranging such ceremonies.

boss, learn to appreciate. the fact we didnt win again WC, itself tells its a big moment and should be celebrated forever. I dont think we can win again.
