But that is only T20 cricket which doesnt require great skills. Test Cricket is real cricket. India won series in Pakistan, West Indies and matches in England, Australia, South Africa with the help of the big 5.. Learn to respect the achievers. Your so called yougsters (yuvi and dhoni) came a cropper against quality attack.. I agree that they are good one day players, but they need to go a long way in test cricket which is the real cricket by all means

How many runs have these 3 jokers made in tests and 1 days ? What is their contribution as captain ? I donot know how you have got the right to term them as "Jokers" ...you are one Mr. You are the biggest one ..by the way ..what do you do yourself ? How many in the world know you ? What is your achievement in your life ? Or in other's life ? The effort these 3 have given to even get into the Indian team is greater than what your forefathers including you have given throughout...YOU DONOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO TELL ANYBODY ANYTHING UNTIL AND UNLESS YOU, YOURSELF HAVE ACHIEVED ANYTHING OF SIMILAR STATURE..BE IT ON ANY FIELD..

You are correct super success. All individual records. None with effect. VVS feats are better then these 3 jokers...
Gilly retired because he wanted to... Brad 36 and Hayden 35 still playing....Lara retired when he was 38 and his carree was marred with many mental issues.... Jayasuria is 38 and still in ODIs.
Sachin should not deprive us of great cricket and keep playing as long as he can.
Youngsters should cement their place in the side once given a chance..... this is not charity going on here....
Seniors should not retire just to give youth a chance Youths should make them retire.
Which outstanding young guy was not given a chance? Kaif raina Rohit Jaffer ....
Sachin and Saurav did not get their place simply... they cemented their place by their performance....
i do not mind seeing a 50 year old batsman who bats like sachin in the team rather than see 16 year old who bats like Dhoni....

Friends it is pathatic that Sourav and Dravid will not be seen in the One day squad. Well the question is how much we can rely on Yuvi and Dhoni. So far as I have seen Dhoni and Yuvi it is clear that they are very good batsman and hard hitters. But they have limited capacity and their performance is examplery only praiseworthy against teams like Shrilankans, Bangladeshians and Pakistanis and some times against Indies. But they have always failed to excel against SA, Aus, England and NZ. Wat I mean to say is that the limited capacity of Yuvi and Dhoni can make them excel against the superpowers once in a blue moon but not always. But when we see the records of these icons we will have to appreciate the fact that they have failed seldom and have excelled on regular basis and have helped India in times of dire need. People may remember 6 sixes by Yuvi against Eng but can they forget 5 sixes on Yuvi. Well there are many things let alone performance that decide fate of an Indian player (not only cricket but in all the games) and these might not be fitting in Permutatiuon and combination of the same. Anyway Sachin u too are not safe

Mr.Super Success do you know what cricket is all about. What did your so called yuvi and Mr.Dhoni do in this australian series. It has been tendulkar and ganguly who have scored. Better get your facts right before writing anything. Yuvi and Dhoni cant even be tendulkar who plays at 50% of his prowess.

what a pity....tendulkar 10 years past his prime....still batting twice better than yuvraj,dhoni n jaffer combined......even kumble can throw them a bet that his batting prowess r better than them...
Please use this message board to shower praises on Gilly. Do not criticize sachin and other seniors who are also regarded as best in the business. Retirement of Gilly doesnot mean that other seniors should retire. The same donot even happen in Australian team. Hayden 35, Brad Hogg 36 keeps playing. If they are performing upto mark why blame them. Before write about sachin keep your hand in your heart and think about how well he played in this series and the so called young guns and replacements Yuvi, Dhoni and others played. Agreed ganguly and dravid to some extent did not play well. But they will come good in the times to come.

dear when the 434 target can be achieved then why not 359?? for win, the commitment /dedication is required, so don't blame to bowlers..
Our cricketers are just like our politicians! Politicians simply hate to leave chair and power! Just like them, our great cricketers including Sachin, Ganguly, Dravid and Kumble hate to vacate their place for youngsters. They also dislike leaving out all those bags of cash as well!

mind you, even the combined aggregate of dhoni,yuvraj n jaffer falls shor of that of Kumble's....forget about tendulkars n laxmans

where are the youngsters. Raina, Kaif, Yuvi, dhoni, Gambir whom you want to replace. they are all 20-20 wonders do not play well in tests. Have you seen the current series who are the youngsters played well in the series. Have you seen the "kathakali" played by dhoni while batting. do not criticize when they are doing well. do you have the same guts to criticize Hayden, Hogg and other australians who are past their 35 years of age. dont write anything for the sake of writing. How do you want sachin to perform better than this. see the replays and see how the so called yuvraj played.
Its high time Indian seniors: Sachin,Ganguly & Dravid also realise the importance of retiring at good time. Its time for them to also retire as they have served the country very good & its time for new comer to replace them..
A great cricketer and a gentleman. Gilchrist an exceptional case in the Aus team.Players normally announce their retirement atleast before the sereis starts.Gilli did it after the fourth series started.He will always be remembered not only as an excellent WC but as talented batsman who has a strike rate of 97.He is not like any other player in the Aus. team. After his retirement Aus squad will a bunch of culterless stu**ds. He was very gentle and descent in the ground.I have never seen he is waiting for umpair's decision, if he is sure of it.If he is caught behind or stumped, the very moment he walk in tio pavillion. Gilly, you are a role model to the youngsters.It'svery sad to see the Aus game without you.
According to me India is leading 2-1 in this series. It is Australia who are trying to square the series. Statistically, Australia is leading 2-1, but the 2nd one they won it by deceit and cheating. As long as they are led by that bugger, cheat Ponting, they will continue to cheat the world. Ponting should be banned for 5 tests since Bangladesh captain was banned for 5 tests for claiming a floored catch. Definitely, Procter is a racist.
According to me India has won. They have played like champs and won the series. Great going guys!!

agree.....even if they r not bringing back home the coveted Border-Gavaskar trophy, i must say i am really elated with their performance....downplaying n dominating australia in their backyard is a bigger feat than perhaps any other big thing in cricket...apart from WC

n m happier that tendulkar is the highest scorer in d series....thus far at least......jus 1 more wish left....india doesnt crumble in 2nd innings...n sachin makes a good show to silence his critics who r now chanting the 2nd innings theory
