that kind of agreement was between kumble n ponting the cheater (and not the punter), but what abt ump, he wasnt a party to the agreement, he shud hv consulted sq leg ump n third ump.
I guess Australia will relook into the captain in waiting issue again. They will surely give it a through thought before giving Clark as the future captain. Clark has also lost lot of fat cheques in terms of advertisments from India, where most of the companies have cancelled their agreements with clark. Good lesson to learn Mr. Clark. Aussies might have won the test match but lost lot of credibility all over the world and also in Australia... this needs lot of repair work from ponting. From now on Ponting will be under sever scrutiny for his on field behaviour. Captains all over the world will be quick to question his sportsmen ship when in doubt. All these thanks to Kumble, who I think handeled himself excellentely well in all these crisis. I dont think any other captain would have hadeled himself better then Kumble and that gave a lot of balaming to Ponting. Kudos to Kumble...
if u urself r not doing acting against ppl n emotionally not using the opportunity. threat abt pullout may never happen as bhajji's case may b postponed till the end of the tour n during final hearing, racism charge may b confirmed. so ultimately ind will b the loser from all the angles, neither bhajji can get justice nor ind can pullout of the completed tour. if bhajji can b charged immediately , y not hogg is even charged, he is going to get hearing in perth ie after one week of the incident.
I hope Kumble has learned his lesson not to make and honor such stupid agreements in the future. The decisions should be made by umpires and not the players.

Call symond " mocha or kothi or kurangu " & they cannot understand that. It's regional equivalent to what bhajji said in English
Ganguly had the real fire to fight the Aussie onslaught, had he been the captain Aussies would never have dared to go bully India to this extent. Now like a kid our BCCI and Kumble is begging for sympathy from the world, just to remove focus from the poor show of our own players who should have easily come out of the feild with a draw! This team has lost character during the timid captainship of Dravid which they are unlikely to regain under 'Gentleman' Kumble! At the end of the day the results do matter not always the ways, that is how the World looks at it today - no place for romanticism - quicker we Indians realise better for us! Many many more Gangulys are required today in all walks of life - for this 'timid' nation (read national leadership) to transform into a powerful one! JAI HIND!

Why don't you take your communists rants back to Bongal so that you can go killing your own people in Singur and Nandigram..fight them with fire..After all what matters is that stupid car from TATA not the people of Bongal...You communists what do you know about playing the right way?? If Gandhi had fought fire with fire would you even have freedom today?? Just because Ganguly takes off his shirt..doesn't make him aggressive..He should have stayed back and scored more runs..thats the only way to beat the Aussies..score more runs..

Communists are still light years better than your GOWDA & Co. - first get your thoughts clear in which subject you want to speak then start scribbling. Also note I am bothered about the Indian cricket not what a Kandagiggas feel or think!

brother. kumble has earned the respect of the entire cricketing fraternity. ganguly and his boss dalmiya would have fought this situation with fire, but it would mean fighting it the aussie way. and the outcome would still be the same - because the icc/ aussie chaps want to desperately make this a bullying issue by the board. kumble has made it plain and simple - its justice.
