RE:RE:Bangalore team - More of a Test team than 20/20

who cares if u spare ur time or not...they will always have their purse full
IPL is going to be a super flop. Do they think that people will watch these matches? Remember what happened with the World XI Vs Australia match? It was a damp squib. Ranji Trophy the premier First Class matches of the country are played in front of meagre spectators and empty stands. It is the patriotism of the National matches that gets viewership. Will anyone be passionate enough to watch Preity Zinta's team play Khan's team?

r right mr.dharan.how it can boost indian cricket.bcci shd rather spend atleast 10% of its funds on infrastructure and on quality of pitches. That only will help us develop bowlers like ishants and rohits.wat is going on there? It is not cricket it is like a share business.absolute nonsense. T20 is going to kill the charm of Test cricket and also onedayers.sure.this is not a gud trend.we may not see a tie test match at chennai between india vs aus.nor an exciting test match between india and pakistan at ahmedabad (which is sunny's last test) and the likes...not only that even ODIs will loose charm.absolute money stunt is going on there.not gud for the game.Where is the guarantee that players will play with team spirit? two players of almost same class r paid differently in the same team one player might try to underperform.noone can rule out such possibilities

Also, is the best cricketer in the world, Dhoni? When Gilchrist and Hayden are getting less than half his amount? That means you have to be a controversial player like Sreesanth and Harbhajan to get more money, while if you are a Mike Hussey you will be in reserve.

well....logic always does not work...otherwise how come David Beckham was the highest paid footballer for such a long time? he got more than Zidane, Figo...is he a better player than them? how come andre agassi was the most popular tennis player even when pete samprass was at his prime?

world XI vs Aussies was flop mostly because they selected great batsman and great bowler most of these player are slip fielders so there were not able to run in the onfield so bat field did it all and to add to eat the strength of the bowlers cann't be guess by captain from other team. The basic reason was fielding the Aussie just have to make sure the ball goes out of the ring and a four is definately there unless and untill the ball refuse to touch the boundary line

Hi folks don't u think kumble being 600 wicket taker and captain of test team should have a icon status atleast I think BCCI should think of this great bowler no reward is announced yet for his 600 wicket are they waiting for his retirement god knows well.....
Not sure about others, this certainly had my attention now. I would love to watch the cricketing greats from around the globe play as one team.I'm backing chennai not coz of Dhoni but coz of Hayden & Hussey! Hyderabad probably has the best team but need to be guided well to become champions. Laxman is certainly not a T20 material! I'm looking forward to seeing a keen fight between Hyderabad, Chennai,Mumbai, Kolkatta and probably Mohali.

Dhoni gets 1.5 million each year for the next 3 years. Any agent fee involved has to be paid extra by the Chennai team franchaisee.
