The way IPL is being organised is in bad taste if not outrageous. Particularly the way money is thrown right and left. Whose money they are throwing any way. The bottom line is it is going from my pocket or your Pocket. The sponsors will add this price in their end product.
It is rather strange the way money is thrown at the players who have come to Cricket only yesterday.
The cricketers are made to look like ------. I will not name the word else it may lead to violation of code 2.8 of ICC code of conduct.
It is aginst the spirit of the game if the prise of players is put on public domain. I feel the matter should have been more cofidencial and limited to the players and the club.
I follow cricket immensely. iam very much passionate about the game, but my schedules let me follow only indian matches out of patriotism and love for my country. I watch cricket to see india win against aussies n pakis the most. the other matches i do follow them but only on rediff or news paper for a minute or two. The same would be the case of millions of we indians. ICL and IPL cannot be successful as much as icc one days and test matches are. in the pretext of entertainment indian money to the tunes of millions of dollars cannot be showered on international players making a way for our hard earned money to go to west. The domestic circuit matches should be played to enhance the skill of our indian players not to make an hole in indian money. Instead use this money for the welfare of athletics and sports person. Improve the facilities and training academies. Automatically cricket will entertain more indians. MORAL OF THE DISCUSSION: We indians are loosing money!!!

Most of the indian's feel that it is "Petriotism" watching india matches/praying god to make india win.
What the heck is that. That is not the petriotism. It is absolute $$hitt. Working in western countries, licking whites a$$es, making dollars, And watching india cricket, praying god to win india matches, is this patriotism. Patriotism expects your services to the nation, help to the poor and greedy people.
I m very much surprised to see that there have no bid for players like Md.Yusuf & GlennMcgrath.I may not like the Aussies but I have to agree that Mcgrath was a fine player of this era and even now he could have served better than any other bowler in the fray. It's really injustice to the calibre of Mcgrath.I may not sound good but the fact will remain fact that this is Highly Injustice in my view.Shame shame

Dear friends, can anyone explain me about the IPL's program - whether they will conduct matches between different state teams in India or in any other manner. I simply confused abt their plans. One more thing is that has any contract been signed between IPL and other cricket governing bodies. Cant a player opt out of this League?
