SRK has bought Ajit Agarkar. Now, whoever he buys and at whatever the price, he is going to ose the match. SRK should have taken money from Agarkar to let him play in the team, that would have at least made some sense.

Ajit seems to excite some strong sentiments. Could it be because he shares the same name as the infamous Screen Villain?

Rightly said... I too said the same thing that Agarkar should've paid money to play for Kolkata team.... It's all because of Ganguly as Agarkar was his chela when he was captain of indian team....

Forget a match or two. He is the best deep fielder with strongest throwing arm in India. Only few Australians like Symonds can match his throw from boundry line.
His reverse swinging yorkers were useful in death overs & can be used in 20-20 also effectively.

He is the highest wicket taking one day bowler from current indian lot.
Only Kumble & Srinath ahead of him.

Hi folks ,

He is really a shrewd bussinessman .He knows that if these jokers do not play well he can use them as extras in his next movies. He has chosen the teammates taking movie characters in mind
Sourav ganguly --- The friend of the hero who dies at the starting of a shahrukh movie(well how he can prefer giving even 5 minutes role to anyone else than himself)
Shoab Akhtar (The BAD man ) ..Well he also dies after 5 minutes in the movie(Well bad man always gets a lot of praise ..and shahrukh does not want anyone to steal his role of Darrrrrrrrr)
Ricky ponting--Well in indian moviews you always have an angrez among the gundas who keeps on getting beaten the whole time..Fortunately he stays till the end of the movie and the sequeal as well..
Mc cullum --Well ofcourse there is always a Johny walker in a shahrukh movie ...

What a farce!
by Super User on Feb 20, 2008 06:10 PM  | Hide replies

Kumble retired from One-day cricket after the World Cup but he is ready to play T20. Same with Warne and McGrath. How do they justify themselves? Perhaps with fat pay check they will take home. Also, how does Sehwag qualify for an 'ICON' status (whatever that means!) when he is unable to hold his place in a One-day team.

Sehwag qualifying to be an icon player is the biggest joke of the day. How can one even think of such a thing in one's dreams. Those dreams would be soooo nightmarish!
The second biggest joke is agarkar actually receiving a bid!

Always was. Up till now we were being fooled by the BCCI and the Indian players waving the Indian flag. There is no national sentiment involved in the whole thing. It is purely about money. Witness Sachin Tendulkar Indian Cricket's poster boy who earns a few hundred crores every year and is yet niggardly enough about paying his taxes to demand tax relief for importing a luxury car gifted to him. I doubt that any of these guys lose any sleep over the fate of India'a toiling masses a la Mahatma Gandhiji.
