T20 being a Batsman's game it seems that HYDERABAD have a fantastic batting lineup. Gilchrist, Gibbs, Symonds and Afridi - ALL in one TEAM!!! The Nawab Laxman will just have to go out for the Toss and field.Baaki batsmen ko mauka hi nahin milega.

Seems an Hyderabadi at heart, you bet Hyd has the best team it really looks good to me. If Ishant came in then WOW HYD

wow. VVS will have to do just fielding. i think that is more than enough for any opposite team to win with whatever the Hydera'bad' team scores. Ha ha ha........

Hyd team is very average. I can't imagine that Laxman as captain. God knows how he will manage the team. He himself struggles to play in ODIs.

He made about 2-3 runs in about 12 balls against Australia recently. You decide if he is any good or not.

Hey Manoj last year was the highest run-getter in Ranji Tropylast year. He plays for Bengal. They lost to Mumbai in the finals, where he scored century along with Sourav Ganguly. This year, though Bengal did badly, he scored two centuries.....So chill Delhites, he is a very attacking batsman and perhaps the best fielder of India now. Its just that he is yet to get his chance properly.

You don't know "Woh konewale Radhesham Tiwari ka beta, wohi jo Samose, Kachaudi aur Mungfalli bechta hai... Ha usee ka beta Manoj"
I feel cricket is the only sport exists in this world if you see these auctions.what is happening.what central government doing.when a individual body like BCCI which is not part of sports ministry(strange thing) doing this. Why cant government takeover this BCCI and spend the money on the other sports atleast.where is the encourage for other sports. It is true most of the Indians like cricket including me but it doenot mean we dont like other sports or games. If we aree winning we love to watch any sport on television or inthe stadiums.Like our society sports also reflecting our nation status.one hand people struggling to fulfill basic needs like water, food, medicines and the other hand spending millions for entertainment.where the things going wrong.one may say this is happening in europe with football and baseball or basketball in America but their life style and their life standards are different from us.There everybody get basic needs easily unlike us.Government should react rather than individuals. But unfortunately our elected MPs dont listen our words they live in different world. They want people when the elections come otherwise god knows what they are doing in the parlaiment.

Forget a match or two. He is the best deep fielder with strongest throwing arm in India. Only few Australians like Symonds can match his throw from boundry line. His reverse swinging yorkers were useful in death overs & can be used in 20-20 also effectively.
He is the highest wicket taking one day bowler from current indian lot. Only Kumble & Srinath ahead of him.

absolutely true ....after this incident ...most people of the world will be laughing ....a country almost full of beggars ...is trying to act as a giant even though the money can be used to fill the stomachs of thousands of hungry street urchins ...for 100 years! ...dont these people have any shame ...ofcourse india is shining ....but in terms of industrial means ...wat we are seeing today is absolutely bewildering in nature and should be a thought provoking to someone to file a Public Litigation against BCCI ...its time this body is taught a lesson ....there have been many instances when players in UP and others teams are not being paid their dues and they are commiting suicide ...and here ...we are paying generous ...
y are the common people paying taxes to government if so much money can be given away in the manner so lightly ....this sports money shud be taxed heavily ...
it would be a great sight to see the same event taking place but ...for adopting some districts or talukas for conversion to SEZ ...bidding would change the face of india ..if government of india takes the same measure ...
i am not against such bidding gesture totally as it is happening in the west especially in European football leagues ...but ...the standard of living is very important ...
what this incident clearly shows is the ruthless attitude of the the celebs towards the common man ...
how v as a common man shud stop this ...by boycotting the IPL tournament ...even if few 10000 people boycott

Arre Pandey ji...itna bhavuk ho jayiye. This is no charity which any of the parties involved in IPL are doing. Its core business, they are not donating money, rather making money.
So...if this did not happen... aisa nahi hoga ki... millions of rupees will be given to the poor. Rather looking at it in a positive aspect, surely the whole hoopland organisation will provide some people with employment.
And also the poor vendors at the stadiums will make some more money by selling their stuff...Ranji match to dekhne koi jata nahi... atleast if 10000 people go for each match of IPL then some poor kids and person will be able to sell Cold drinks, Pop corns..peanuts and so on... which will give them food and money...
isiliye dimaag se socho and dont start criticising everything like our politicians in the opposition...

Yes.. govt should take over this sport and relagate it to misery that hockey, football, badminton etc etc are going through... though the money that is getting thrown around is mind numbing still you can expect a decent infrastructure and can expect the players to be treated respectfully.. I have no clue why this is being compared to our basic needs like water, electricity and food... most of the stake holders in this are corporates and individuals who are tax payers and it would be wrong to expect them to provide the basic neccesities to the rest of crowd... then why pay taxes to the govt... basically we have a inherent habit of despising anything new.. take it or leave it... it is ICL IPL PHL etc etc that we will be hearing for next few years... It will not be far when more corporates would do this to football and other sports in India...

How about we fans buy Income Tax Department and go after BCCI and these players? We can recover our costs in no time.
