Everyone is eager to know at what price their favorite player has been bought, dont you think it is a disgrace to the game once called a gentleman's game now on sale. Our players are auctioned like products on display & sale, it is a stinking concept though it rakes in lots of money for these corporate buyers. And when the Indian farmer is starved and dying, and when the poorest of the poor are finding it difficult to get 2 square meals a day, the nation and its corporates who use its rich resources to thrive and make business spend huge sums of money on buying the already richie rich players of the game.
Dear Corporates, there is something called as corporate social responsibilty, why dont you spend the money on the poor and economically backward people of this nation and brighten their lives, do we really need to buy these cricketers when there is enough cricket already. Dear fellow citizens, reading this if you find my prayer unreasonable, i beg your pardon.

dude you're blaming the rich for begin rich.. the age old saga... agreed that farmers are in plight.. the poor are having a hard time.. but the reason for that is Polictians. If the pea-brain politicians knew about empowering poor people they would have come out of poverty long time back.. but then how will Politicans benefit..

i completely agree with u amit, its silly of any1 to blame the businessmen.. the politicians collect party funds from the corporates and make promises to the poor farmers...and we all know what happens..its the same story for the last 50 odd yrs..

"It is indeed a very sad day for a country like India where lakhs of children have forgotten what childhood is under the yoke of child labour that millions of dollars are being showered on jocks ! I appeal to all citizens to boycott this naked exhibition of wealth & power under the guise of sports. Please we are not US yet , whose less previleged citizens are taken care of, to put this kind of money on a mere sport. Wake up India... our priorities are different. And they should be giving all of us nightmares."

isnt money spent and ciculated better than money lying under the beds un spent??:)...
the more money is circulated , more money reaches the poor through employment, taxes etc etc... so stop with this socialist bullshit..india has already suffered much cause of that.

yeah your company should do more for the poor instead of running its business and make enployees pay for it...lets see if you'll be qwilling to work with the pay cut. CSR doesn't imply that you stop doing good business.

hussey and macgrath should cancel their contracts and go back. Hussey the best ODI batsman currently(look at his record) and a very good fielder has no takers.!!! wat a pity .Wat abt macgrath (he has retired but it was his decision) who was an automatic selection till his last match. These businessmen dont know the value of these greats.I believe all indian icon players are not good enough in 20-20 may be except yuvraj. They are lucky . I believe the condition that there cannot be more than 2 aussie pllayers in one team has caused this I am great fan of hussey.Hussey is a great player. Its only the verdict of few business man .

Dont be so annoyed brother...just sell your property and give the money to Hussey. He will happily leave to Australia.

there is no insult to him buddy he is the one who has opted for it, If all of them want to stnad there like a whores and wait for the price, then this is the way it will be.
I think Mukesh Ambani has emerged as the biggest loser in the bidding so far... He has spent the maximum so far and all he has to show for the efforts is Sachin(not played single 20-20), Jayasuria(way too old, will not fetch him anything when transfer opens next year) and Bhajji(when was the last time Bhajji did anything substantial with the bowl)
Besides Mumbai has not bid for any Wicket Keeper, so it has to be a local WK. Look at any top side today or in past, when its WK has been a strong bat, the team has been strong...(Aus under Gilli, India under Dhoni, SL under Sangakkara) and when WK is weak, team is weak(Akmal for Paki, England, West Indies)... Ambani, stick to business, cricket is not your cup of tea...

in mumbai checkment area they have good keeper in form of takawale so no need to bid for other junk keepers
