Most valuable player is Dhoni, $1.5 mn. Jayasurya is most valuable in the Mumbai team (if we count tendulkar out who has been nominated for mumbai by BCCI)....
There seems no logic behind the bidding price for individual players. Why do we blame Vengsarkar? It seems Indian businessmen don't have any brains for cricket!

Abhay, let's wait and see. We are seeing some of the shrewdest brains in india (like ambani and mallya) supporting the game. Hope it works out....
Finally bidding is official in cricket no matter how they throw their cards. All those nice players who are sidelined by Indian Cricket Board will get chance to play. Surprised to see no takers for Mcgrath, who is world's numero uno destroyer

True, it's all these media paparazzis game to give name ...i think it came after he acted in movie "Badshah", he was called as badhsah that time and now became king...in which aspect ..i dont know?..so where are these media, when Amitabh Bachan acted in "Shahensha"???
How easily all forgot that, once Hindi films are known through Bachan, an old saying Amitab=Hindi Movies.....

Sputnik: you (sputnik) seem off the orbit. Weren't you launched and then recalled from space by russians? SRK is called 'King of bollywood' coz he delivers the most hits and also coz he has the biggest fan following in bollywood. He's not called so by media without any reason....
